Exceptional experience beyond our expectations!!!! Truth told we came across Haselwood simply out of chance because they had a vehicle we were having a tremendously difficult time finding due to shortage of told we came across Haselwood simply out of chance because they had a vehicle we were having a tremendously difficult time finding due to shortage of nationwide stock. We actually came close to purchasing the same vehicle from two other dealerships but changed our mind last minute. We had one local dealership attempt to charge an extra $5,000 due to the shortage of available stock. Disgusted with this we attempted to make another purchase from a different dealership and had similar problems with a fair trade in for our Volvo. Once again it seemed greed took over and after the dealership came up short by $10,000 on our trade in and said that was the best they could offer we walked out immediately. We were offered from a well known nationwide used car chain the price we were seeking but ultimately sold it privately to a friend. Why do we mention all this??? When we found the vehicle available at Haselwood we were prepared to run into similar hurdles of price gouging and questionable business practices. We sadly were expecting last minute price add ons and pressure to purchase. This was absolutely NOT the case. Starting with John he is one of the most respectful assistant we have ever delt with. I say assistant and not salesmen because he wasn’t selling a vehicle to us but seriously just assisting us with finding what we wanted and making sure it met our needs and expectations. This was the same for every staff member we encountered from there out. It was simply a wonderful experience and at no time were we pressured or felt as if anything was being hidden from us. At every juncture everyone was open and upfront with all information. From walking into this business simply because we had failed elsewhere to now being a loyal future customer was a complete 180 degree change for us. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone every day of the week and twice on Sunday. They are a very respectable company and absolutely take pride in their business ethics. We so wish we had started with them but now have a trustworthy connection for future purchases. Thank you John Souza and Haselwood family…. We are truly grateful for everything you did for all of us!!! More
