After the paperwork was signed, Bill showed me all of the features of the car to ensure I was familiar with my new car on its maiden voyage. Did not try to hard sell us on extras that we didn’t want and explained what we get with the packages we choose to purchase. Answered our questions and reviewed features and options for the Atlas. Dealer offered a fair trade in value on our current vehicular and even offered to pick it up from our home since we did not bring it with us. More

We worked with Aaron who took us around to test drive all the compact SUVs across their various dealerships (something I highly recommend doing). Decided on the VW Tiguan and Aaron came in the next day (on his day off) to complete the purchase. So far so good. Then the Sales Manager got involved. Suddenly $800 of “accessories” appeared on the paperwork (not on the sticker). After pointing out that we had negotiated the price previously (with a different sales manager) and enduring comments such as “all our customers lie to us” and “ you can afford it”, we did end up purchasing the car at the agreed upon price. I have previously purchased two other new cars from this dealership and had a great experience both times. Not sure what happened this time but maybe just having a bad day? More
