I was in the Chicago area for a serious family situation the day after Thanskgiving of this year. I went in to get my Starlink emergency services icon looked at. Normally when it's all "functional" it's lit the day after Thanskgiving of this year. I went in to get my Starlink emergency services icon looked at. Normally when it's all "functional" it's lit up to green, instead it's been lit as red. The problem was solved thanks to a wonderful customer service advocate from Starlink and the Hawk Subaru Service Manager, Kelvin Nunez. Kelvin gave an explanation and a reasoning to the problem along with assurance that it's super minor and an easy fix. These two folks are the only ones deserving of any sort of thanks and appreciation from me. I walked in for the third time after being on the phone with Starlink for almost an hour at this dealership and thought that the next person I would speak to would be of total assistance to me. I've had great experiences with Subaru thus far, especially before purchasing my first Subaru however this was an utter fail and a sucky xxx person decided to play with my time and not do much of helping me. I encountered a salsesman by the name of Elizabeth Nosaka or Liz at the front of the dealer. Not only was I gaslit by this so-called customer advocate, but I was questioned about where I purchased my car and why I was in Illinois. All of this pertinent information has nothing to do with you figuring out my issue and fixing it so that I can go on about my day. Never have I ever been to any dealership of any kind and been this racially profiled before. I truly believe that Subaru is a fine corporation but the behavior and service I received overall was xxxx poor at best and I do not appreciate this at all from this particular dealership. Liz did not listen to understand me or what the representative from Starlink. She just wanted to respond and get me out without actually helping me. I get it, it's the day after a holiday. You're probably pissed that you're working. Boo hoo. Most of this country is working class, same xxxx different year. You're job is to provide service to people who have a car. If you do not want to provide that service to a customer, find someone else who will do the xxxx job. I will never recommend or come to this dealer for anything else. Again, the Starlink representative who I spoke to which was on a recorded line if anyone at this dealer would like to check on the records. Also, another big thanks to the service manager Kelvin! Thank you so so much for being a decent person and solving my issue. The world would be so much better if people treated EVERYONE equally. More
We brought in our 2015 Outback for a factory recall. The service was performed on time and the vehicle cleaned when we picked it up. Elizabeth was very helpful. On our first visit we test drove three different vehicles. On our second visit she walked us through all of the car’s features. Their service department is horrible. I have brought my vehicle in four times over the past year for various service needs. Three of the visits left me very dissatisfied.
