Thus, we were not able to include them at the time of your purchase. As for your $500 deposit, our Business Office already processed your refund back onto your credit card, so you should see a $500 credit on your statement. If you don't see it, please let us know. CaitlinH, No one likes to feel like they were taken advantage of, and we certainly don't want to make our customers feel like that. So we'd like to apologize if you feel mistreated by our dealership That said, we'd like to take a moment to address your concerns. We're sorry it took you 8 hours to complete your purchase with us. Delays can happen, but we do everything we can to try to minimize them. Making your purchase experience as smooth as possible is always a top goal of ours. Regarding the warranties, we're sorry if there was any misunderstanding. We take our jobs very seriously, and Steve is always very clear with all our customers when it comes to cancellation fees and time frames. Cancelling any of our warranties within 30 days would help you avoid the $50 cancellation fee in question. The 10% cancellation fee you referenced sounds like the prorated cost of the warranty. (For example, if you purchased a 100,000 mile warranty and cancelled it after 50,000 miles -- or 50% of the warranty -- you would receive a 50% refund, prorated for the number of miles you drove under the warranty.) The Car Care Service plan you purchased for $300 was a maintenance program which included oil changes and tire rotations (among other services) every 7,500 miles over the 3 years of the plan (37,500 miles in total). These maintenance services were not included under your Ford Limited Warranty, and we feel it's a worthwhile investment.
