I had a few frustrating things happen while I was purchasing my vehicle, and it left a sour taste in my mouth when purchasing a NEW car should be an exciting and fun experience. The sales manager, J purchasing my vehicle, and it left a sour taste in my mouth when purchasing a NEW car should be an exciting and fun experience. The sales manager, Jennifer, assured me that a credit check would NOT be ran since I was putting $35K down and only $5K financed. She also assured me that the interest rate quoted would be the rate I paid. However, when I went to sign the paperwork they had to run my credit AND my interest rate went UP substantially. I did NOT want my credit ran and I would have found an alternate solution, but since I wasn't aware, I felt pressured to sign off on the credit check because it was the only way to get my car that day. I felt lied to because she wanted to make the sale and it made me lose trust in this dealership. Also, the finance department all the sudden needed pay stubs and proof of address, no one told me to come with these things and they made us drive back 1 hour each way to send the documents. I would have came prepared with them had I known, and I asked multiple times what I had to bring and brought all the other needed items. The finance guy also pressured me to get the extended warranty even though I insisted I wasn't interested, and it wasn't until my Dad said no that he listened. My sales rep, Chris, was nice and helpful. He's new to the dealership so wasn't as knowledgeable in some areas but he wasn't afraid to ask for help. I did have some trouble getting a hold of him a few times but I later found out he was out sick. I recommend the front desk let customers know sooner, so we don't think our sales rep is ignoring us. They didn't tell me he was sick until I became frustrated and asked for the manager. More

For that big of a purchase, you shouldn’t have to take what they got. 3rd car I bought from Hasselwood since 2018, thats alot when i get my car in a few months , im going to check Pullyup first. There should be some kind of loyalty award for that. More
