The sales team, specifically management, lied and fibbed their way to pad a sale by claiming GAP insurance and a security subscription were "required" on the contract. We've never had any dealership tell us their way to pad a sale by claiming GAP insurance and a security subscription were "required" on the contract. We've never had any dealership tell us those options were required and felt cheated once we confirmed this was not true. On top of the lies, our purchase left the lot and the maintenance light turns on. We made it home 90 miles from the dealership. We contacted the sales person to help us resolve the maintenance issue, where he downgraded our problem and made it seem as it wasn't a big deal. They also wanted us to drive the car all the way back to the dealership so they can check the maintenance issue. We did not feel safe driving a truck with an unknown issue and requested for somewhere local we can take it or have it towed back to the dealership. The sales team did not accept that alternative, imploring we drive it back. It took a call to the service department and having it escalated up the chain for this issue to be resolved without a much bigger and further inconvenience for us. If I can just grade the service department, I'd give them a much higher rating. Sales? Not so much. More
Our service advisor was Jennifer. We had called the week prior there were no appointments available, but we could drop it off and if a tech had time the would look at it. We dropped it off at 7:30 am, at 1 when we had not heard anything, we left a message for Jennifer. We got a text back saying no one bass looked at it. At 3:00 pm we went to the dealership and a tech had not looked at it. Jennifer was not helpful. We asked to speak to a manager, we spoke to the assistant manager he was very nice, and offered us a rental car. Jennifer is less than stellar, her lack of communication was uncalled for. She is in the customer service business, communication is an essential skill. I will say the next day when my husband picked up the Jeep she was nice and easy to work with. So maybe a bad day? More
