They move lots of cars and therefore have a selection that is unbeatable. We were able to get the exact car we wanted with them. 5 stars for that! Purchasing from out of state has been a bit more difficult that I'd have liked. I thought the shipping cost was quite ridiculous and I found 10+ shippers that would transport my car for literally 1/4th to 1/3 the cost that Hemet was telling me. They agreed to work with a shipper I found. In working my shipper, Hemet's policies required it to be shipped "covered" - not open bed. Even factoring that in, the cost for the shipper was still less than 1/2 of what Hemet's shipper would be. In the end, getting the documents from the shipper I found didn't work out and so Hemet did a deal with me to make up for it, which, if the car arrived on a quality shipper's truck, then I would have have been totally satisfied and super happy, but, Hemet's shipper did not ship "covered". My car was covered in bugs (fortunately I didn't see any rock chips) instead of being covered with protection. So either Hemet is being duped by their shippers somehow, or they just like having dual standards (internal shipper vs external) and overpaying their shippers by 3x to 4x. Either way, I got my car without damage and without having to pay overpriced shipping, so I am happy. Also, other than Mo (who wasn't assigned to my purchase in the end) the 2 people in finance who either left a message or were put on my case were never reachable despite my attempts to call them back to provide them the info they wanted. So, xxxxxxto Mo for being available, but unfortunately Mo isn't the friendliest to work with. More
