This was the most interesting car shopping experience my wife and I had in 25 years. Informed her that we do not wish to waste anyones’s tome as we have to drive 1.5hrs to Hemet CDJR. Arrived there at 06:45 PM on a Friday with a supposed appointment to meet with either Jesus or Teviya and we didn’t get a test drive until 07:45 PM after asking several salesmen who were with other customers. A great gentlemen named Felipe who accompanied ua on the teat deive was the only bright and positive side of oir horrible experience. We were then referred and dealth with another salesman named “Jose” who is probably the most incompetent salesman that we ever encountered. Jose told us that despite the good discount they are offering us, he somehow wanted us to believe that we have to buy “dealer added options” which did not exist. On top of that he offered ua $16k for out trade in that was valued trade in at $20-22k. Jose then proceeded to tell us that if he raised the trade in allowance if I was going to fight him on the add ons whoch I told him as a consumer it was our right to negotiate in good faith the best deal possible especially on optional items we do not want. in fairness the discount was really good but Jose’s attempt to to use my trade in equity to pay for the dealer ad ons was not acceptable. It was really amazing that our time was wasted first by LynnIe whom we found out was not even a salesperson and then the incompetence of Jose who not only lost a sale but treated us like we sis not know nothing about finance. Well Jose, my wife and I have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management. Jose even told me that he has been in the car business that he knows the value of used cars even though evwey reputable newspaper and economist knows that the used car values have risen during the pandemic. Avoid this dealership at all cost, and to Felipe good luck Buddy you’re going to need when you keep losing a sale standing beside Jose Left dealership at 10:30 PM, it’s the longest drive I’ve taken to eat at a McDonald’s.
