Auto vehicle from this dealership in 2017, it was a 2016 Chevy Cruze. maybe a year later there was a "C S.P." notice about a possible problem with the rear high mounted brake light, the one that fits abov Chevy Cruze. maybe a year later there was a "C S.P." notice about a possible problem with the rear high mounted brake light, the one that fits above the rear windshield. basically seals on the underside of it for faulty or could break causing it to become unsealed and allowing water during rainstorms to leak down into the trunk and follow the battery and current lines possibly causing an electrical fire. this type of notice is issued when they're made aware of a problem they automatically acknowledges severity and initiate a program to fix these things so it doesn't go down as a recall, this benefits the car's rating and their sales. fast forward to now and the supposed repair that they did failed I'm putting gas in my car and I can see the right side of the rear high mounted stop light popped up. I at first went through their chat system and was reassured find employee name Olivia Martin but I would be contacted, after several days I wasn't so I called and explained this, twice wants to the receptionist and then to the technician person she handed me over to, who before even talking and he said this wasn't something that was open covered by warranty and work they'd do. well according to the nhtsa and attorneys for legal services from my union, the law clearly states that if and when they do this type of repair and it fails and needs a repair, and the re-repair is in the same scope of the previous repair, and the vehicle is less than 15 years old in the date of purchase, they are in fact obliged to repair it if it fails... well not according to Andy, who was rude dismissive obviously didn't want to deal with the problem and said I'd have to contact GM but that just wasn't something that they were dealing with at the dealership level. well I'm in the course of not just contacting GM but I'm also going to Lodge a complaint with the NHTSA, and also the better Business bureau, which coincidentally they have lost their accreditation with because of not addressing problems just like this and denying responsibility or service obligations just like my situation. after I'm done with all of that I get my vehicle repaired and then I'm going to take them to small claims / civil court recover my money and some damages and compensation for my time, or something they refuse to do that they are legally obligated to do. so not only do they care about being ethical and following through, they don't care about the law either. it's a scummy way to do business, STAY AWAY from these people they are TERRIBLE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. Promises made, promises broken We purchased a vehicle that did not have an owners manual or a 2nd key fob. We asked Mitch Dearvalla for the 2nd key Promises made, promises broken We purchased a vehicle that did not have an owners manual or a 2nd key fob. We asked Mitch Dearvalla for the 2nd key fob, he said he would check into this while we were signing paperwork. We signed the buyers guide which spells out any other items promised as part of the sale, trusting that Mitch would do as promised. When we asked about the keys on the way out after signing and was told that there was no 2nd set. We traded 2 vehicles as part of our transaction, a Chevy truck and a Cadillac sport coupe. Mitch accepted our Cadillac trade sight unseen, viewing only photos of the car. The Cadillac was in the body shop for a minor repair. He told us to bring the car down to the dealership when it was finished. We brought the car to Mitch a week or so later and he proceeded to tell us that we didn't represent the vehicle accurately, as there was damage all-around the vehicle and that they had to spend $1000 to get it sale ready. This is xx. The car was in immaculate shape for a 10 yr old car with only 40K miles on it. We disclosed the vehicle condition accurately and Mitch even viewed photos prior to trade. Funny, he didn't mention anything about damage. When we dropped the car off, we went into the dealership to talk with the sales manager about our 2nd set of keys for the vehicle we purchased. We also had our 2nd key sets for our trade vehicles, as well as all service records. Gunner told us that used vehicles don't include a 2nd key or an owners manual. That's funny, we have ours. And if we aren't getting a 2nd set for our new vehicle, you aren't getting our 2nd keys sets for our trades. Gunner did not care and told us to do what we need to do. That is crappy customer service. Fast forward 3 weeks.... I received a call from my bank,advising me of my past due payment on our 2 vehicles and that they were putting the accounts into collections and reporting delinquency to our credit bureau. I immediately called Henderson Chevrolet and got transferred to everyone except the finance department. I finally reached Kathy Bugarin in the business office and advised her of my phone call with my bank. After being put on hold, she came back and said that she found our payoff checks in the bottom of their 'to do' pile and that they forgot about completing our payoff transaction to our bank. I was 2 days away from a ding on my credit for non payment, due to the incompetence of the ENTIRE team at Henderson Chevrolet. How long would it take them to complete our transaction if I had not called to ask about it? 2nd key was $300; owners manual was $70. Tack those charges on to the $100k+ truck that we purchased. Rude, liars that work very hard to screw over their customers. If you are considering a purchase at Henderson Chevrolet, I HIGHLY urge you to take your business somewhere else!!! More
