Auto vehicle from this dealership in 2017, it was a 2016 Chevy Cruze. maybe a year later there was a "C S.P." notice about a possible problem with the rear high mounted brake light, the one that fits abov Chevy Cruze. maybe a year later there was a "C S.P." notice about a possible problem with the rear high mounted brake light, the one that fits above the rear windshield. basically seals on the underside of it for faulty or could break causing it to become unsealed and allowing water during rainstorms to leak down into the trunk and follow the battery and current lines possibly causing an electrical fire. this type of notice is issued when they're made aware of a problem they automatically acknowledges severity and initiate a program to fix these things so it doesn't go down as a recall, this benefits the car's rating and their sales. fast forward to now and the supposed repair that they did failed I'm putting gas in my car and I can see the right side of the rear high mounted stop light popped up. I at first went through their chat system and was reassured find employee name Olivia Martin but I would be contacted, after several days I wasn't so I called and explained this, twice wants to the receptionist and then to the technician person she handed me over to, who before even talking and he said this wasn't something that was open covered by warranty and work they'd do. well according to the nhtsa and attorneys for legal services from my union, the law clearly states that if and when they do this type of repair and it fails and needs a repair, and the re-repair is in the same scope of the previous repair, and the vehicle is less than 15 years old in the date of purchase, they are in fact obliged to repair it if it fails... well not according to Andy, who was rude dismissive obviously didn't want to deal with the problem and said I'd have to contact GM but that just wasn't something that they were dealing with at the dealership level. well I'm in the course of not just contacting GM but I'm also going to Lodge a complaint with the NHTSA, and also the better Business bureau, which coincidentally they have lost their accreditation with because of not addressing problems just like this and denying responsibility or service obligations just like my situation. after I'm done with all of that I get my vehicle repaired and then I'm going to take them to small claims / civil court recover my money and some damages and compensation for my time, or something they refuse to do that they are legally obligated to do. so not only do they care about being ethical and following through, they don't care about the law either. it's a scummy way to do business, STAY AWAY from these people they are TERRIBLE. I bought my car here a year and a half ago and sure everyone is nice when you're buying a car. I came to have it serviced one of my tires looked at so I called ahead of time to see if they had any spot everyone is nice when you're buying a car. When I get there he proceeds to tell me that nothing is covered anymore and I said fine I just need someone to look at my tire. Two and a half hours later I asked them how long it would be and they haven't even looked at the car yet... So why you tell me to come in if you don't have time for me I could have came in on a different day. Anyways some guy in the waiting room, a car salesman, ask me if I want a new car and I say no I got one last year, then he looked up my warranties and told me that I had canceled them yes I canceled them because it was an 8% interest rate it's cheaper to just pay up front then pay 8% interest rate on this huge car purchase big deal.. well he tells me that I listened to the peanut gallery when I canceled and then he became very rude because I did not want to buy a new car. Meanwhile I am 6 months pregnant so the fact that he was rude to me came off is really aggressive because I was so calm and polite. I'm never coming back to this dealership again and I'm going to buy my next car at a different Chevrolet. And no it never got looked at because I had to go into work. More
Called ahead to schedule an appointment for a smog check, I was told to just go in and they will get it done, no appointment was necessary. I drove in and waited for 2 hours, when I asked the service advisor I was told to just go in and they will get it done, no appointment was necessary. I drove in and waited for 2 hours, when I asked the service advisor he asked me what ever happened with my truck, he went in to the back and drove right out. Looking at the time of when the smog was done, it had been an hour prior. I wasted an extra hour of my time just because the advisor forgot to get my truck after it was ready. More
