As posted on Google+: Tom: I'm sorry you were not satisfied with our explanation of our recommendations. We took pictures of your brake master cylinder and fluid, and felt they were black-colored, which we felt was indicative of contamination, since the fluid is supposed to be clear, as you say. The reason we could not cover the vehicle under warranty is due to the age of the vehicle. While the vehicle had roughly 9,000 miles on it, it was out of warranty due to age, and we can't cover an item outside of warranty without putting our franchise agreement at risk. It may have been that you couldn't contact the service manager on that particular day because he was attending a meeting in Atlanta, but our service manager has attempted to contact you to resolve your concerns since then, and would still like to speak with you.
