Honestly, I have mixed emotions. I’m not one that buys many vehicles. Honestly, I very much felt swept aside. My salesman I’ll call him Ced was pretty great he answered my questions. He really did run down and help me find the vehicle that I was looking for that was also within my budget. The finance department to be expected was constantly trying to add on things that I kept telling him I did not want I get that that’s his job. my vehicle had to come from Georgia so it took a couple days to get it here to Birmingham again I’m OK with that. I’m getting what I want however, when it comes time to pick it up, I was literally throwing the keys and said there it is and he walked away. There was no tutorial with the jeep that I have never owned before in my life. I did have a lot of questions to be basically throwing the keys and pointed at the jeep and saying there you go wow that did not feel personal at all honestly, that alone did not rub me right however to dig a little more into it. The salesman that I was dealing with, had another couple that he was in the process of selling a jeep and he was doing a tutorial with them. I get that in my opinion he should’ve grabbed another salesman or someone a manager someone and they should’ve walked me through this vehicle instead of just throwing me the keys and saying here you go While he’s over there walking through every detail taking pictures with them and doing stuff like that again that’s OK. I wasn’t looking forward to having my picture taken like a lot of dealerships like to do, but still the fact that no one gave me a tutorial of this Jeep gladiator blows my mind, especially buying a brand new vehicle in today’s market at this point I mean it when I say I have mixed emotions. I just don’t know that I can do business with this dealership again because of that me personally when I make a purchase, I deal with that dealership pretty much for life. In this case I have always driven GMC’s and Fords I have never owned the Jeep in my life and I decided to give it a try so far I have a bad taste in my mouth the cheap itself the gladiator. I love it. It’s what I want. I look forward to putting the miles on it with my family taking trips truly going off road but I’m afraid I’m just gonna have to find another dealer to do business with. And it would’ve worked out right because they’re not far from my work if I needed an oil change or something I guess I’ll just drive further out of my way to a different dealer. More
