This is my second terrible experience with this Dealership’s service department. As soon as I pulled in and explained my issue, a service tech name Al immediately told me that he couldn’t figure ou Dealership’s service department. As soon as I pulled in and explained my issue, a service tech name Al immediately told me that he couldn’t figure out my issue that day. I explained that I have a long work commute and lived beyond the the 20 mile radius that their shuttle service offered, so I needed my Jeep looked at today or a loaner. He responded “you need make arrangements to figure out how to get home because I can’t get to this today. And I can’t give you a loaner because you may not have a warranty.” I had an appointment so I was confused with his statement and I had already explained that I have the platinum warranty plan. I then asked for the service manager Frank because I refused to deal with someone that wouldn’t even look at the car to see what’s going with it. Frank took it to the back to place on some type if machine and figured out the issue in 10 min and explained how they could fix it and do it all that day. My first terrible experience related to a knocking noise coming from the rear of the Jeep. I was told the same exact thing that day when I showed up for my appointment, that they didn’t have time to figure it out. After composing yet again to the old service manager, he came out and took a drive with me to head the noise and then laid under the car in the parking lot to look under it instead of lifting it up at their shop to properly look at it. Told me my muffler is out of place and causing my bumper to burn and if I don’t replace it all immediately, my car will catch on fire. Took my chances driving to Express Oil Change for a second opinion, and was told that I may have hit something while driving which caused the muffler to shift back. They shifted it forward, replace a missing bolt, and told me nothing would catch on fire. That was the best $19 I’ve eve spent and I’ve been driving for months now with no issue. More
