I purchased an Dodge Ram in 2017 and extended warranty and have used Hendrick for all of our service and at first, they were amazing, but, it has steadily gone down hill over the last year. About a year ago my brakes started to rub, and we took it in several times and they "couldn't replicate it" even though the entire wheel shook when braking. We were able to replace the brakes and rotors ourselves and it must have magically fixed it. Fast forward to this April, as I am approaching 100k miles, the AC starts making a noise and begins to work intermittently. I made an appointment for the warranty work as well as a oil change and tire rotate for 7a Tuesday and dropped it off at 5pm the day before and explained that we needed it back in Friday for traveling for work. They said that would be no problem. We made several unreturned calls to get a status Tuesday and Wednesday. Finally after calling the 800 # I was told the dealership lost power and they weren't working. I asked how I could find out about my car and was told "try back tomorrow, we can't look it up, only make an appointment". Finally midday of the fourth day I was able to speak to a service department employee who let us know they had not touched it yet. We contacted Hendrick corporate (who have been great) and explained the situation with the local service department and we were ensured that the warranty would be honored even if it was over 100k miles. I went to drop it off today (5/19), not only did the service rep tell me that they "probably wouldn't honor that warranty" I was also told "we are not taking appointments until 6/10, and that's just when the book opens, I can't make you an appointment that day, you'll have to call then". He then proceeded to say "you may want to take it to another dealer IF it's covered by warranty". I have never had such atrocious customer service in my life. They used to be great to get work down same day and were very convenient. Needless to say this is the last time I will ever use the Birmingham Hendrick CDJR for anything. More

Matthew Bryan was the salesman who worked with me and he is so kind and funny. It was a laid back, no pressure, great experience and I will definitely be calling Matthew for all of my vehicle buying needs in the future. More
