Overall the best car-buying experience I've had in 23 years Kudos goes out to Rodney, Elizabeth, and Brian at Hendrick Honda in Bradenton. Fantastic people. My father-in-law called over the phone and Rodney was extremely friendly and accommodating to him, genuinely, with zero pressure or tactics. I ended up trading in my 2017 Jeep Renegade with a faulty radiator fan assembly and some cosmetic issues (which they still gave me what I asked for it) and on top of that gave me a great price on a 2017 Honda Civic EX that was like new). All of that was done with courtesy and over the phone as I do not live in Bradenton. I came in to sign paperwork and pick up the vehicle, Tammy (front desk) was welcoming and friendly. Elizabeth ended up helping me due to a prior engagement that Rodney had, she was so incredibly pleasant and I mean genuinely cool and happy to talk with me, the entire time. She was very patient and kind throughout the entire process. Rodney even stopped over once to make sure everything was as discussed and to make sure I was being taken care of. Towards the end she introduced me to Brian who spoke with me regarding the extra policies and packages for the vehicle; the man was a saint. He patiently talked to me about each package and I tried to save his breath where I could since I wasn't interested in the majority of them. Even when all was said and done and I decided against getting the two I was looking at he was genuinely cool about it and offered zero push-back. I literally felt like I had just gone to Chick Fil A to order a car. From start to finish it was the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle and I never once felt anxious, guilt-ed, pressured, or otherwise uncomfortable with the purchase or process. I think the most admirable part of the entire event was that none of them were "Smilely Gladhands", no one was fake or looking to squeeze me - everyone seemed happy to be there and happy to have me in the dealership. More
