From the moment I stepped into the service department initially, I was taken care of by Jason Shermer with kindness, respect, and just all around hospitality! He kept me in the loop about everything they were doing to my car including a detailed video walk through of the maintenance I requested all while showing me things that they thought would be a good idea to take care of either while my car was in their possession or shortly down the road. After I initially dropped my car off with service I drove my beautiful loner vehicle to the other side of the dealership and proceeded to look around on my own, I wasn’t harassed or overly questioned. When asked if I needed help I just politely told them I was only looking and they kindly told me if I ended up needing anything to just pop my head inside or grab anyone I saw. I found a couple of vehicles I thought looked really nice and made my way home. After getting home I looked up said vehicles online and proceeded to send to my husband. He really liked the cars I had found and encouraged me to go test drive them. After speaking with my friends “the Sorianos” who had purchased multiple vehicles from Lexus of Charleston, they HIGHLY recommended I speak to Wilbur Wiggins if I wanted to actually go test drive something or look at something. So I text Wilbur per their recommendation and I am so very glad I did! Wilbur made me not only feel like a priority but treated me like a priority from the moment I text him! He was very thorough, very clear, very to the point but in a humble way that never came across as pushy! He worked for me at that point, not the dealership! After you step into Wilbur’s office and see the amount of thank you cards that are taped to his windows, you can understand why he was so highly recommended! Wilbur constantly made sure I was comfortable not only with the purchasing process but physically! Offering me snacks, drinks, wifi, anything I needed to make the process more enjoyable! When test driving the vehicle I was interested in, he made sure to explain everything about the car, how to use the new features and everything that this car offered me. He remembered every detail when it came to things that were a must for me and things that I didn’t want at all! When it was time to speak to finance, Nick was amazing as well! He made me feel comfortable with everything they were doing all prior to doing it and never once made me feel pushed or rushed in my decision. This was the first time at the age of 36 that I ever purchased a brand new car solely in my name without my husband or anyone on the loan or even just with me in the dealership to help me support wise so I was a little leery at first going in there. But like I said, they made me feel like I was already a long time client of theirs with zero pushy dispositions like you find at most dealerships! After all said and done, it was time to go see my new baby that they had detailed and waiting for me in the pickup show room with a giant red bow on it, a large Lexus duffle bag filled with all sorts of goodies and a technology concierge that was waiting to show me everything I could possibly need to know about all of the new technology that was in the 2025 TX 350 I was purchasing! Nick, walked me through all of the buttons and options and also set up my Lexus app for me and took care of all the details that needed to be input into said app profile! My car purchasing process was the easiest and least stressful process I have ever experienced when buying a car all thanks to Wilbur and the team at Lexus of Charleston!
