We purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT from Volvo of Charleston and purchased the oil change plan through the service department. We’ve had a good experience until the most recent last week. My husband was shunned and made to feel inferior because we brought a Ford in for service. He said he felt uncomfortable as the staff was confrontational, asking why he was bringing a Ford there, did he have an appointment, how did he make the appointment and this was not the same level as the service had been prior to that visit. Suggestion...do not sell these service plans if that is how the customers will be treated. I was interested in buying a Volvo in the near future but I am now rethinking my options. More

I went to my service appointment quite apprehensively as it was a maintenance issue with concerning dashboard messages that I had never seen before. I was worried about a very expensive repair. Bryce Salye it was a maintenance issue with concerning dashboard messages that I had never seen before. I was worried about a very expensive repair. Bryce Salyers immediately calmed my concerns, said it was likely a minor sensor issue that may be covered by my Auto Guard, and indeed he was correct on both counts. After the repair was completed he explained the issue in detail so I would understand it. The experience made my day. Excellent service! More
