The service advisor "Ray"was argumentive on the phone and in person with me telling me my Jeep wasn't covered by warranty, this after having an appointment for 3 weeks in advance! It was not only covere and in person with me telling me my Jeep wasn't covered by warranty, this after having an appointment for 3 weeks in advance! It was not only covered by the extra factory warranty I purchased when I bought the car but also under it's new car warranty on its transmission which SHOULD NOT have had a diagnostic fee's associated with it. I was charged $193 dollars for a "diagnosis fee" to fix a warranty covered item. I paid it just to get my car away from them. I will NOT be back for service plus I WILL NEVER buy any type of car from a Herb Chambers dealership EVER! I plan to report them to Dodge Jeep Corporate Customer Service and the attorney general of MA. I CAN NOT in good conscious recommend this dealership to anyone for any reason! Bottom line, sure they fixed my car but the amount of upset and attitude from the service advisors that came before they did so is just unreasonable, disrespectful and reason not to use them again. They charged me to replace a bolt that was covered under warranty! More
Service department is terrible, excluding the woman at the counter. She's awesome. From moment one, have fun trying to schedule service online. When doing so, I included a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, inspection, and wiper blades to give them more service. All I really needed was the 10k mile check up and inspection. I reemphasized synthetic oil when I arrived. They also asked what I was there for. And I was kind of taken aback...I was there for what I submitted online. So I repeated everything, again, emphasizing full synthetic. Instead, I got conventional oil, no wiper blades, tire rotation and inspection. It's obvious the service department could give flying frig about delivering better service. I don't care if they kiss my feet, now. I'll never go back. I'll service somewhere else. More

My year old Wrangler lease wouldn’t start. Had it towed to Herb Chambers Jeep. Took a week to get it back b/c it needed a new battery(under warranty). I also had a front bumper damaged from a deer I hit. I had already filed a claim with my insurance company and they assessed the damage and given me the paper work to get it fixed. I simply asked Herb Chambers if they could do the work while my Wrangler was in the shop. They said they could but parts were on back order. So I picked up my Jeep and Chambers tried to charge $89 for diagnosing my damaged front bumper. Had quite an intense conversation with the service rep after he told me I wouldn’t get my keys if I didn’t pay. Finally, it was resolved that it wasn’t a diagnosis and I went on my way. I won’t be having any work done unless it’s under warranty. More
