My experience buying my Honda civic was one of rememberance. I had absolutely no intentions on buying a car the day I decided to "go look". I felt like I did alot of homework and searched alot of reviews, opinions and star points in buying a car. I felt confident in my knowledge when I hit the dealership; but only wanted to get a sense of the car buying experience with an intent to buy later. After scooping out the lot, and looking at a few on my own; which I feel is important simply bc I didnt feel pressured. Bobby approached with an offer to help me with anything. I told him my interests, what I was looking for and why I was looking for the car that I was. He offered me valuable information about the different cars, about the Herb Chambers way, and offered to take me on test drives. He was very casual and easy going. He came across as informative verses arragant. He allowed me to take my time bringing him back and forth to a couple of different cars I had interest in. He allowed me to test drive two different vehicles, with a robust attitude which made the car buying process a little easier. I felt like I was potentially buying a car from someone I knew instead of a complete stranger. After deciding that the car I wanted to purchase was the one I wanted too, I was very overwhelmed with the process (forhence this is a big purchase yet a big gratifying experience) although, he seen the look of undecisiveness on my face and offered up a little support in letting me know that "he would take care of me". That put me at an ease. After paperwork was being done. There were plenty of times were I texted him for f/u information and with every contacted information, he was pleasant and helped me. I would also like to take a moment and thank Jose, who helped me with gathering a loan and all the information that goes into warranties, coverage, payments, etc....That part was overwhelming but he was patient with me and explained the different aspects a few times. Also, would like to mention that it was past closing time and both Bobby and Jose were kind and patient with me! I walked away from the overall expereince pleased. I'm happy to say that in the future when I decide to buy another vehicle, which I intend on doing in a few years, I'll be sure to go to Herb Chambers and ask for Bobby. Thank you, Heather More
This is my third Honda bought from Herb Chambers of Burlington. The First, CRV, I bought from TJ Madden, and I know why he has been promoted to manager. Patrick worked closely with each Honda team member to make sure I was needs were always met. It was my wife's 50th B'Day and I was trading in my first Honda Pilot for a new one. Patrick came in early on Sunday morning to make sure that my plans for the day went according to script. He is a great guy and was very attentive. He helped make our event memorable and took special care to make sure everything was smooth. I called him a dozen times and he patiently answered all my concerns. Robert Crow was great throughout the process, patient and respectful of my questions and concerns that were all addressed in a timely fashion. I purchased a 2011 Honda Pilot that is in great shape and was priced to sell, I engaged Bob initially only five days before I drove off the lot with the vehicle. I had previously given the dealership a 5 and mentioned giving them a 10(but the rating only went up to a 5). I was told via the sales manager that it was worth $5,000 and would go to auction. Honestly selling it on my own was not anything I was interested in doing and maybe should have. Lo and behold I stopped by the dealership today and there is my 2004RAV all shined up with a price tag of $10,980. You know where I'm going with this. The price of the Honda CR-V was excellent but they get you on the trade in. I want anyone purchasing a car at Herb Chambers in Burlington to pay attention of the price of the new vehicle and what they offer for the trade-in. My RAV never went to auction and now listed at $10,980. Deceptive sales practice for sure. I guess buying a new car will always be a trying experience no matter where you go!! I came in with my boyfriend looking for a specific car that I had seen while doing research on the internet. Sean greeted me warmly almost as soon as I got in the door and was very eager to help me find that I had seen while doing research on the internet. While Burlington did not have the car I had seen, they had a similar model that I was able to test drive. I ended up going with a 2010 Honda Civic VP-DX. Sean was dedicated and kind enough to come to my work to get the plates off my old car and then deliver my new car to my work parking lot the following day. That saved me a lot of hassle and time and I really appreciated it. Any and all questions I have had regarding my car, car payments, etc. Sean has answered quickly and professionally. If he did not know the answer himself, he knew where to get the answers and made sure to get back to me in a timely manner. In addition, he also checked in to make sure I was enjoying my car and wasn't having any problems with it. All around, my experience of buying my first car from Sean was great. I would recommend this place to friends and family if they are looking for quality customer service and people who treat you as a person instead of a sale. More
