I looked at a 2007 CRV today (3/1/13, stock #H130636). When the car pulled around, it was filthy. I had seen it advertised on line since then, with photos of a decent looking car. I was taken aback at how dirty car was since it looked so good on line, and after looking at the car closer and closer, I realized that the photos on line, of the upholstery, the tires, the entire car, were of a DIFFERENT car. In addition, there was no indication on any of the ads that these were 'file photos'. The car I was expecting to see was clean and in good shape. The car the salesman wanted me to buy it before Herb Chambers would commit to reconditioning it. THE CAR YOU ARE LOOKING AT ON THIS AUTOTRADER.COM AD IS NOT THE CAR ON THEIR LOT. What an utter waste of my time. More
Josh, the sales manager who came out to give us the "final price" after we had a great experience with our sales person (Adeet), scared us away from the sale. He was perhaps the rudest, pushiest person I have ever met at a car dealership. We went the next weekend and bought a different car from another dealer. We had our hand on the checkbook with Adeet and basically Josh came out and made him lose our sale with his pitch. He started with this whole: "Well, how much did you like the car?" My husband said we liked it, and we were willing to buy it, but wanted 1000 off, a reasonable request considering that there were several exact equivalent cars on cars.com with this price, in Massachusetts, and we weren't trading in our car or anything else, and Josh started huffing and puffing and acting personally insulted, rather than negotiating. We just left and bought a different car. I've never met anyone ruder at a car dealership. More
Yesterday we visited Herb Chambers Honda in Burlington with interests in buying a new Civic. I had first stopped by the service center to get an oil change for my CRV. We then went into the sales department and I stated to the people sitting at the main desk that I was visiting several Honda dealers today and asked to speak with a sales rep for info on a 2012 Civic. When I sat down with a salesman (Herb), I asked him for an out-the-door price quote including all dealer, taxes, and licensing fees. He came back with a quote that didn't include the dealer documentation and other fees I had asked for. When I told I'm only interested in the out-the-door price, one of the guys behind the desk I had previously spoke with apparently overheard us and rushed over and very condescendingly and boldly addressed me, asking what it is I wanted. I told him I'd like an out-the-door price quote and he said "We don't know." I told him, "yes you do." He replied by saying that they're not going to give a quote unless we commit to buying. He then told me, once again very condescendingly, to go visit other dealers and to come back when I wanted to buy at a great price, stating "I've never lost a deal based on price." I was so amazed at his rude, cocky, aggressive, and condescending attitude that I canceled my oil change, requested my car back, and promptly left. I then visited three other dealers, each time asking for the same out-the-door price quote, and each time being greeted with warm, friendly, accommodating sales people who didn't even blink an eye to my request. They all gave me an out-the-door price quote, and were very polite and cordial. The three Toyota dealerships we visited today were exactly the same, all giving me a price quote without even asking me for any information, all extremely cordial, polite, non-pushy. It's really to believe that Herb Chambers in Burlington is doing good business with managers like that. Truly unbelievable. The guy flat out lied to me by saying "we don't know." Well, they told me to elsewhere and come back. I did go elsewhere, but I never went back. I will never go back to Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington for anything, ever! That guy may have never lost a deal on price, but this time he definitely lost a deal based on his attitude. What amazes me the most is how open, transparent, and friendly every other dealer I visited was. More
I went into Honda Burlington last weekend shopping for the all new Accord. When I arrived I met Heather who really made me feel at ease right away which was great because I was extremely nervous going to the all new Accord. After the test drive I explained to Heather I needed to go home and discuss everything with my husband and to my surprise she told me I should and I was going about my car purchase the right way. I was at a Toyota dealer earlier in the day who made me wait hours for honestly nothing. In conclusion, I will be going with the Honda the end of this month and will most definitely be going to see Heather at Herb Chambers! More

I recently visited Herb Chambers Honda in Burlington, MA with the intention of leasing a car. From the moment I got out of my car I was treated with the utmost respect and care. The staff were all wonderful with the intention of leasing a car. From the moment I got out of my car I was treated with the utmost respect and care. The staff were all wonderful and never pushy which was a great relief to me. I knew what I wanted, basic car, no big bells and whistles. My salesman was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable from the time we met. He never tried to push me into making a purchase that I didn't want, to upgrade, or customize. Before this experience, I was very leery of car dealerships and was even apprehensive about walking into one. I've never owned or leased a brand new car before and this dealership made my whole experience a great one! I highly recommend Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington, MA! More

My experience with my 2nd lease with Herb Chambers of Burlington was as good if not better than the first. My salesperson, Roberto, listened to my needs and did his best to answer my questions. We spent almost 2 1/2 hours talking and looking at the 2012 CRV. When Roberto wasn't sure about an answer, he got info from Josh, who was extremely knowledgeable. Between the two, they made it possible to get the lease within my price range. When I returned to take delivery of my car, everyone at the dealership asked how I was and wished me good luck with my new car. I appreciate all the time and effort Roberto and Josh extended on my behalf. More

On our first trip the hostess placed us in Laurie's very capable hands. Laurie took care of all the details, she made buying a car a wonderful experience. In the past we have dreaded going to the car lots and being bombarded with eager sales people trying to sell us anything. My father has been a Honda owner for the last 15 years and new that was what he wanted. Laurie listened carefully to all his needs and put him in the perfect car. After that first experience with Laurie my father will only purchase his cars from Laurie. For a wonderful experience from start to finish Laurie Cantwell and Herb Chambers is the place to go. More
