Only 1 mo after their service and insp I have purchased several cars from Heritage Cadillac. Fran *********** was my sales representative and I couldn't be happier with my purchases I have purchased several cars from Heritage Cadillac. Fran *********** was my sales representative and I couldn't be happier with my purchases from her. However my last purchase has been a money pit. The most recent experience was having to replace the timing chain in August of 2018 with only 93370 miles. Then in Feb of 2019 with only 101656 miles had to replace power steering cooler and had full multi point inspection all else deemed good to go. March 4 2019 ,only 25 days later the car suddenly chocked up and nearly stalled and then began a loud knocking noise. When I had it once again towed in I was told that it had a lower end rod knock and would need a new engine costing over $9000. That's the value of the car! I was asking how this was possible when they just replaced the timing chain and all seemed good. I was then in so many words accused of not performing oil changes. I explained that they just did the timing chain and oil change and wasn't due for the next oil change. I asked if something could have happened when they replace the timing chain. I was told absolutely not. However I know that it's possible to drop contaminants into the oil pan if they're not careful. And secondly if they didn't preform the oil change any contaminants would be run through the system causing damage. Thank You, John ***** More
