I have a 2013 Toyota and I came in for my 5000 mile service, while there April pointed out my inspection and emissions was due and my inspection was free because I purchased my car there! I wanted to take a minute to share with you my thoughts regarding Alyssa Danley. I have had the opportunity to work with Alyssa over the past 2 years after purchasing my vehicle at Freedom Auto. She ranks regarding Alyssa Danley. I have had the opportunity to work with Alyssa over the past 2 years after purchasing my vehicle at Freedom Auto. She ranks high up the scale with Excellent Customer Service! Having managed many staff over the years in my role as a project Manager at Hershey Medical Center, I recognize and value highly those staff that provide ongoing excellent service to customers that they encounter. Alyssa provides the same quality of service every single time I have either called or been at the dealership for service. She is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful with navigating the customers through their experience. She follows up on any issue you present to her and always with a cheerful smile. I make it a point to ask for Alyssa when I am setting up appts or need information. I have no idea what type of staff recognition or reward program you might have there for your employees, but I would highly recommend Alyssa be considered for whatever you have available. She is truly an asset to your dealership and I hope you will acknowledge that. It is not often with today’s busy pace that we spend the time to greet people and make them feel welcome, but Alyssa does that each and every time she interacts with your customers. I have a 2003 4Runner and I had a problem with my brakes shaking. It was so bad I thought my car was going to shake off the road. I took my vehicle into Freedom to have it check. Jenelle in service was ver shaking. It was so bad I thought my car was going to shake off the road. I took my vehicle into Freedom to have it check. Jenelle in service was very helpfull and kept me informed during the whole process. I needed new rotors. My car was able to be fixed in one day and they even washed it! Best service experience ever! I have been getting my GMC Yukon serviced there since I bought it there in December. I live about an hour from the dealership but continue to service it there with the help of the Sales manager Stacy Hoke. bought it there in December. He lives reletivly close to me and is willing to go out of his way to pick my car up to be serviced when needed. This is just one of many of the excellent customer service acts that have gone above and beyond expectations. The service manager Alan calls me to let me know what services need to be performed and what these services will cost me before performing them. My vehicle comes back to me washed and vacuumed every time which is another nice touch. Stacy always leaves a vehicle at the house while he has mine at the dealership. This allows me to get my daily choirs and running around done without skipping a beat which is very helpful with my busy schedule. I have many dealerships closer to my home but I will continue to service and buy my vehicles from Freedom because I truly feel there customer service cannot be matched. I Recommend when searching for a dealership for any of your automotive needs you seriously consider the Freedom auto group for it truly is an exceptional place to do business! More
I took my 2009 Camry to Freedom Toyota to have recall work done (Power window assembly) that couldn’t be performed at my normal auto-body shop (Palmyra Auto Service). However, I was told by the sales clerk that there were ‘extensive’ issues found with the car that required ‘immediate’ attention. I did not request to have these things looked over. This included the tires (noted as worn and damaged), the cabin air filter, the belt (frayed and worn), and a leaking water pump. This was curious to me since I had just had the car inspected earlier THAT WEEK by Palmyra Auto Service, who had not noted any of these concerns (NOTE: Palmyra Auto has serviced at least half a dozen cars for our family for 20 years and we have NEVER had a car break down on us). Additionally, the sales clerk at Freedom had told two other people waiting of similar unknown, but ‘immediate’ issues while I was waiting for the work to be completed on my car. I declined any repairs or additional information from Freedom, and instead took the inspection sheet with the noted concerns immediately to Palmyra Auto to follow-up, just to be sure. Long story short, there were no issues with any of the noted items (Palmyra Auto was good enough to take me back and SHOW me each specific ‘issue’, then explain what a worn belt would look like, etc.). This was done at no charge to me. I believe this was nothing short of a scam on Freedom Toyota’s part in an attempt to get me to pay through the nose for repairs I did not (a.) request or (b.) need. Dishonesty is not appreciated, and should not be acceptable to the consumer. I am not someone who typically writes reviews, and who also tends to give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time, but I could not in good conscience let this one go. I would NEVER go to, or recommend, Freedom Toyota to anyone looking for honest and dependable service for their car. Maybe nice waiting areas are your thing; if so, you’ve found your place at Freedom Toyota. For me, I’ll take honesty and a proven record of service any day of the week.
