Disappointed with sales follow-up I recently purchased a Honda Ridgeline from Herson's Honda. My wife and I really like the truck and we look forward to many years of service. However I recently purchased a Honda Ridgeline from Herson's Honda. My wife and I really like the truck and we look forward to many years of service. However the sales department has completely destroyed our excitement about purchasing a new car. When it came time to deliver the tuck, Eric couldn't figure out a minor problem that was solved just by simply making sure the gearshift was in park. After taking the truck into the service department for a check, he made the same mistake again, not putting the truck into park. Consequently, the truck was taken back into service and we were given a loaner car to take home. And Eric even called our brand new truck a lemon. Seriously? The only time a sales person should use the word lemon in front of his customer is when you are talking about iced tea or pie. As we were preparing to depart in the loaner, I mentioned to the salesman that the wheel locks we were charged for were not in our truck and to please have them when our truck came out of service. He said he would take care of it. He did not. A week later, I asked sales manager Alpha to follow up. He said he would order the wheel locks. I'm still waiting for them to arrive. I have asked a third time for merchandise that I paid for. In the real world it's called theft. Or breach of contract, take your pick. I have purchased several vehicles in the past. This is disappointingly the worst experience I have had while buying a great vehicle. I recommend the Ridgeline, just not Herson's. I must caveat my comments with compliments to Alex Garcia in the finance department. He was awesome to deal with. He explained every thing very thoroughly. Eric and Alpha were both friendly, but neither have followed though to complete our transaction. Eric completely failed in making our experience a good one. I want what I paid for and an apology. I'm not holding my breath for the later. UPDATE: I got a response from the Marketing Manager at Herson's Honda and she made it right. I have received my wheel locks and an apology, and I am now satisfied. I am raising my rating from one star to two stars. Had the issue been taken care of sooner, I could have given Herson's at least four stars. I'm still glad I bought my Ridgeline and I enjoy driving it every day. More

He answered all my questions and in my own language!!. He eased all my fears since the first purchase. Most of all is very friendly and not "pushy". I already referred a friend to Arturo and she and her husband were very pleased with his help and attention and purchased their first CR-V right there! Keep up the great work!!! More

I dealt with one salesman on several visits who fully/patiently provided the information that I needed to bridge the technology of the new vehicles (e.g. I am 69 and purchased my last new car 15 yrs ago) and listened to my financial/personal/etc needs--incorporating them into an agreement that met both our needs. The financial officer had state of the art technology and a gentle professional approach that made the process clear/quick/straightforward. Meanwhile, the technicians readied my new vehicle to include my chosen options as we completed the paper work. Good teamwork! More

For me, negotiating and buying a new car is always a hassle, but in this case my wife and I were fortunate I had a great experience at Herson's Honda. For me, negotiating and buying a new car is always a hassle, but in this case my wife and I were fortunate in being able to be taken care of by an excellent salesperson - Rahiem Dorsey. Mr. Dorsey is very professional, knowledgeable, and never pushy and has a nice temperment and sense of humor. He made the process very pleasurable for us - so thank you for that Rahiem. All in all, dealing with Herson's was a surprisingly nice experience and I am happy with the vehicle I purchased. I also shoujld say a word about the finance manager I worked with - Alex Garcia. Another competent and friendly professional. I never take the dealer addons and Mr Garcia quickly recognized this and did not push it at all which I appreciate very much. More

I was shocked when I walked out of Herson's in just few hours -- and without battle scars from fighting off sales pitches for bells & whistles I don't need. My sales representative, Stephan Gast, perfectly assessed my needs and matched me with the right car from the beginning. He was very thorough in helping me through the the car's technical specs, and even setting them up for me! I didn't have to get into hand-to-hand combat when the time came to do all the paperwork. That's the part I hate, when dealerships try to sell plans you don't need and won't use. Not at Herson's! He explained the plans but accepted my "no," and didn't try to stress me out. If I ever have to buy another car (and from what I've heard, my new FIT may last forever), I'm using this dealership. More

Car buying made EASY!! I honestly went into Herson's Honda just to look at a 2017 Honda up close. Had every intention just to get a feel for what I wanted, see the numbers, I honestly went into Herson's Honda just to look at a 2017 Honda up close. Had every intention just to get a feel for what I wanted, see the numbers, put some thought into it, then make a decision. However, the people that worked there were SO friendly and BEYOND accommodating I wasn't walking out of there without a car if I tried! When I was explaining the color and trim of Honda Civic I wanted, Jack told me they didn't have it in stock but could arrange getting one for me. While I waited for Jack to bring the car around I was shocked when he pulled up with the EXACT car I wanted! I've heard that buying a car is a headache, painful experience because the salesman are ALWAYS trying to get over on you, however, mine was the BEST EXPERIENCE I could've asked for!!! I couldn't be happier with those who helped me, and more so MY BRAND NEW CAR!!! I'd DEFINITELY buy another car from Herson's Honda im Rockville! More
I wish I went to car max. I was not dealt with honestly from the beginning. I have learned a very expensive lesson. Have your attorney view all contracts before you sign. Car Max has one. They don't care if the deal ends up being bad for you after further consideration. They don't care about you at all. More
