Buying a new car is a big step but it doesn’t have to be a daunting one. Hertrich made the whole buying process quick and easy for someone like myself who hate going to the dealership. Process took less tha a daunting one. Hertrich made the whole buying process quick and easy for someone like myself who hate going to the dealership. Process took less than 40mins, they never tried to oversell me on staffs I didn’t need unlike other dealership I have dealt with in the past. Good and friendly staff. Nice experience overall. More

By far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. Watched the service manager talk down a woman. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy anything from this place dealership. Out of all the Jeep dealerships in the area, by the are the best. Professional, friendly and honest. Safety is a number one concern over selling services. Today Fran who is my absolute favorite, was as alw the best. Professional, friendly and honest. Safety is a number one concern over selling services. Went there recently about repair to my radio knows and was told they did not accept the third party auto repair coverage after being told on the phone that they did. Made an appointment to have my airbag was told they did not accept the third party auto repair coverage after being told on the phone that they did. Made an appointment to have my airbag light checked but I won't t go because when I asked if they could reset the SRS and check connectors under the seats they said it would cost 129.99 and take 2 hours in addition to whatever the issue is. They were rude would not listen to anything I had to say and an older service clerk just kept interrupting as I was talking to the first clerk. I get the impression that they did not want to work and that anything I had to ask or offer was worthless because I was a woman. Forget my business! I'm not taking my car to this place More
I was sold a lemon or the “repairs” make it worse I needed a car in the worst way in 2015, and I love the stow and go seats in the Grand Caravan as well as the wonderfully comfortable driver’s seat. S I needed a car in the worst way in 2015, and I love the stow and go seats in the Grand Caravan as well as the wonderfully comfortable driver’s seat. So I overpaid for one. This car served me well until it hit 114,000 miles when it began to have issues. Chrysler stepped up and paid Hertrich to do the repair after repairing it twice to the readout failed to solve the problem. They charged me $369 for “diagnosis”. The car was out of commission over the busiest part of the Christmas holiday and I got it back in the end of January sluggish and with poor gas mileage. I had to borrow my son’s car for over a month. In mid-March, the transmission cut out altogether without warning, no dash lights - nothing. A less experienced driver could’ve easily been killed on the road and no one would’ve thought to look for mechanical failure. I had the overpriced MOPAR warranty packet exactly one day. 3 weeks and a day later and four extra days of car rental at my expense, my car is “ready”. At serious inconvenience, I go get it ( couldn’t afford to keep paying for the rental) and drive it two days only to find transmission fluid leaking all over my driveway after I had loaded my car for a four day trip! While out-of-town (using my son’s old Ford), I have it towed back to Hertrich, who promptly blame ME for alleged “damage” caused by “running over something”. After losing it with them Patrick agreed to fix the “damage” for free- the thing was not fixed right in the first place and they were trying to get me to pay again. I went back this morning because it was allegedly fixed - and there’s transmission fluid on the parking lot under the car. Somehow they found a way to get me an immediate rental car to get me off the showroom floor discouraging people in loud tones not to buy at this place. My car is STILL there. More
Corrupt and discriminating Service Center If I could give a negative star review I would. I Took my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Hertrich of Elkton to repair a Tramission overheating warning l If I could give a negative star review I would. I Took my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Hertrich of Elkton to repair a Tramission overheating warning light. Under the supervision of Manager Patrick I was charged the following to correct my transmission overheating : $129.95 for a diagnostic check by Hertrich employee Technician Rich. The repair for the “indicated code” was to replace the a clogged Condensor or cooler. $686.20 to replace cooler/condenser combo. $382.87 to replace the transmission filter and pan gasket $1199.02 Total Repair cost These repairs DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. In less then 10 miles the warning light came right back on with the transmission overheating at 248 degrees. I Took the Jeep back to Hertrich on the following Monday. The new estimate to fix the problem according to employee Perry. $35.00 Adapter plug $45.00 Fluid $50.00 transmission pan gasket $565.00 transmission valve body $259.90 Labor $954.90 Total estimate I declined this estimate but instead took my Jeep to a local service center who identified the real problem on 1 visit and it was fixed for: $290.31 Parts and labor. The repair made was NOT what the Jeep dealership said it was on either estimate and their BS "Code" I seriously think the Jeep dealership discriminated against me since I was a woman and charged me for unnecessary parts and labor and/or they simply dont know what they are doing. They misrepresented the actual problem and lied about obtaining a code during the diagnostic check. Originally they fixed the Jeep according to the code then retracted that statement saying they were guessing since the diagnostic never presented a code. Finally, they WOULD NOT HONOR THE CUSTOMARY DISCOUNT TO CHRYSLER RETIREES! You pay the same as everyone else. More
