I experienced Horrible customer service from management to the service department. I purchased a Certified 2018 Jeep Cherokee from here 10 months ago I started having issues in August 2022, so I took it in to get looked at and I was told that the transmission was going up and that it had to be sent out due to they did not work on jeeps. The good news was that my extended warranty would cover repairs. I explained to them I had no other transportation and that I would need a rental. They were in no hurry to get started on the paperwork to start the process so that I could get a rental. I had to get a ride home because I could not find a rental anywhere until the next day which was an inconvenience of course. The next day I called to speak to the General Manager Mr. Greenwood and of course, he was in a meeting and returned my call later and pretty much said that he was doing everything he could concerning the rental. This process lasted 7 days and I heard from management 2 times with no results. I ended up having to pay $492 out of pocket for my rental because Larry the person who was handling my paperwork never put the paperwork through for my rental coverage that came with my warranty and I am still waiting to be reimbursed $175.00 but this amount is all that I can receive due to paperwork not being done and yes its better than nothing when I get it. After they finally took my jeep to their jeep dealership I find out it was not the transmission it is a belt that has something to do with the engine and alternator.I called and spoke with Larry to question why their diagnostic test said one thing and the jeep place diagnostic said something else and I was told that both places' diagnostic test is different. At this point, I am not trusting anything anyone is telling me. This entire process from start to finish was HORRIBLE. There was a salesperson who called me the day before I took my truck to get looked at, asking me if I was interested in getting out of my truck because they were looking for used vehicles and once he found out what was wrong with the truck he then he said to me that he could get me out of the truck if I was willing to have a $700 monthly payment and it was not so much as what he said it was how said it and in my opinion, he should not even be a salesperson. Finally, I was told to email a copy of my rental bill to my warranty company which I did immediately and I have yet to get a response and so I emailed Larry from the service department twice to get contact information concerning the warranty and have not gotten a response from him either. The most important thing that any business can offer is CUSTOMER SERVICE and when a business fails in this department everything else goes downhill. I will never return back to this location nor will I refer anyone that I know to go there either. More

We visited Hertrich of Easton after driving to PA to look for a truck for my son. We were both disappointed after feeling like we were trying to be taken advantage of. We drove to Hertrich and what a diffe for a truck for my son. We were both disappointed after feeling like we were trying to be taken advantage of. We drove to Hertrich and what a difference! They treated us like family and were awesome. They worked with us and were honest and upfront about every small detail. I can’t say thank you enough. Every step of the process was smooth and easy. Horrible dealership Horrible customer service! We took my husbands aunt there to look for a reliable used vehicle. Prior to going we called and explained her situation to Horrible customer service! We took my husbands aunt there to look for a reliable used vehicle. Prior to going we called and explained her situation to see if they could help, they told us yes and had a vehicle waiting for her to look at. We took her up, she fell in love with it, we came back the next day worked out a deal, signed papers, got the keys and left with the vehicle. A MONTH LATER they call her and say there was an issue with her financing and they need her to bring in more pay stubs. She drives up there in the vehicle to bring them the pay stubs they had asked for, only for them to ambush her and tell her they were taking the vehicle back, that her financing had fallen through. They dropped her off at another dealership with her belongings and drove off with the car leaving her stranded in tears. Luckily the other dealership actually had a heart and cared about their customers. They not only got her a loaner car for the night, but the next day got her into a very nice SUV at a better price than Hertrich Ford had given her. It was an extremely traumatic experience and completely unwarranted, just shows that they do not care for or respect their customers! More
