Excellent experience, customer service, dealership, pricing and service rep! We were greeted with a smile and amazing service. Doug did a great job of keeping me informed as to progress of the work so I could manage my schedule. Installation done to Volvo standards. Car returned in immaculate condition. Everyone I came in co progress of the work so I could manage my schedule. Installation done to Volvo standards. Car returned in immaculate condition. Everyone I came in contact with at this dealership has been an excellent communicator, warm and friendly. They are very concerned about providing top flight service and want the customer's experience to be as pleasant and productive as possible. More

I took in my VW for service and the first thing that happened was the service guy lied to me straight up (what a shock as they are just trying to make even more money) to try and get me to get another service in addition to what I was there for. The labor for the services is way over priced. And the customer service is lacking. I would say go to a non-dealer to get your car worked on--that is what I will be doing going forward. More
As always, nothing but the best from Herzog Meier. There are no surprises and they communicate well. I can't think of anything negative to say and I've been having my car serviced at HM for 9 years. are no surprises and they communicate well. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever endured. The service department employees were rude and not at all helpful when I called in to make appointment to have my security system reset as m endured. The service department employees were rude and not at all helpful when I called in to make appointment to have my security system reset as my car would not start. The rude guy on the phone tolme it would be two weeks minimum to get a apt and when I asked for something sooner he rudely told me I was "not a priority and would have to wait." I promptly called the VW dealer in Milwaukee and had appt. a hour later. Herzog Meier is a joke...absolutely terrible. More
Able to schedule appointment in reasonable time. Cost/Estimate of repair and the time to repair my vehicle was exact, no surprises. Great customer service. Efficient service. Customer service was great, there was little pressure to purchase a vehicle. They were very interested in sharing their knowledge of the cars, and customer satisfaction rather than pressuring you to purchas purchase a vehicle. They were very interested in sharing their knowledge of the cars, and customer satisfaction rather than pressuring you to purchase. I have been back twice to look at the cars and I had 2 different salesmen who were very knowledgeable and approachable individuals - Justin Jeffers and Jesse Glimpse. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. The Manager - Mike Jeffers was present both times, and he is also very approachable. He is a straight shooter and not going to mislead you. I really appreciate that kind of sales technique. Great location, great people, great cars. There was a 3rd party survey company that called me after my first visit who had very little knowledge of the vehicles. They did not know the name of the models or what kind of car it was. They then proceeded to sell me on a Chevy, which was not even on my list, because that is the only SUV they have owned. I was very unimpressed with the survey company, but I still went back, because I know that they did not represent HM. Overall, great experience. More
I'll say upfront if your looking for a new Mazda go here and find Jesse, he's a friendly, smart, and funny young guy with great knowledge of the cars. Patrick Covert was our internet sales contact, als here and find Jesse, he's a friendly, smart, and funny young guy with great knowledge of the cars. Patrick Covert was our internet sales contact, also a great help and very friendly and personable. I searched for a new Mazda 3 through Costco and Consumer Reports pricing and these guys quickly and easily matched all pricing and kept fair negotiations simple with no stressful pressure at all. Our sales team included Jesse (our first direct salesperson), Patrick (Internet sales) and Mike the showroom manager. All these guys we're a true pleasure to work with. Jesse is young but knows his Mazdas very well, very personable, funny, and easy going. I'd say the same for the other guys too, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Herzog-Meier has all the needs covered with great selection of inventory, friendly and intelligent staff, easy options for financing and reasonable negotiated pricing. See a review for service at 5000 miles. Highly recommended. One note on financing. You will be offered extended warranty and possibly other items. I believe this to be typical for any dealership. I do not recommend adding these to your financing as, at no fault of Herzog-Meier, the extended warranties have terrible reviews. The finance person we worked with was great. Fast, smart and considerate of our needs to keep it simple. He did his job of trying to pitch us the adders but was not overtly pushy by any means. More
I had the pleasure of meeting Mark Wanaka @ Herzog-Meier a few weeks ago. I was looking for a newer Volvo XC-70 AWD wagon to replace one that had been lost in an accident. Mark showed me a 2007 ruby red wag a few weeks ago. I was looking for a newer Volvo XC-70 AWD wagon to replace one that had been lost in an accident. Mark showed me a 2007 ruby red wagon; a gorgeous car! We hopped in, and took Ruby for a drive; honestly; the car drove herself; She literally didn't have a mark on her! Less than five minutes into the drive, I'd already bought the car mentally. In the meantime, Mark and I talked about everything but cars; family; sports, music, schools, what we've been doing in Portland since 1968; our aspirations for our kids; grand kids; you name it! By the time we got back to the dealership, we'd both made a friend. Kudos to Herzog-Meier for having the wisdom to employ folks who inspire so much confidence and make you look so good! Sincerely, Gordy Spezza More
