Whenever I call Doug and/or Allen in the service department, I feel like I'm calling my big brothers. I know that my car will be in great hands and it will be top notch when I pick it up. Doug Smith at Herzog-Meier Volvo exceeded my expectations. I dropped off our XC90 unannounced Sunday because the check engine light came on. By 7:40am on Monday morning, he already advised me about the issue and I was ready to pickup my XC90 by 10am! On top of it, he was extremely nice and eager to help me. It was a big wow factor. My name is Mark Cronrath. Monday, June 17th, I took my daughter's Volvo S40 in to HM because the check engine light was coming on. I was met at the service counter by Doug( I apologize I can't remember h daughter's Volvo S40 in to HM because the check engine light was coming on. I was met at the service counter by Doug( I apologize I can't remember his last name). He was very professional, and courteous. That made a good first impression of the dealership. Doug got me settled into the customer lounge area with a comfortable chair, and a good cup of coffee. Doug kept me informed with everything that was going on with the service of the car telling me that the part that had failed was going to be covered under warranty. I told my daughter after everything was done, that if her car needs service she should take it to the dealership as I told she would find the service excellent. I work at a CaseIH machinery dealership, so I can attest that service is VERY important, and people are a dealerships greatest asset along with a great product, and you have both at your dealership.
