The short story would be that I experienced more difficulty and stress purchasing Christmas presents than I did purchasing a car over the internet from Heuberger...true story! I was very specific in regards to the color and features/options I was looking for. I live in South Florida, and of the 6 dealers within an hour or so drive, no a single one had exactly what I was looking for. I expanded my search to all of Florida and still came up empty. I tried talking with some dealerships and it was apparent to me that I knew more about the vehicle and the options than all of them did...not cool! I never in my life have or considered purchasing a car over the internet, call me old school, but I guess I like the overall experience of driving off the lot with the vehicle, albeit the negotiation part of the process usually makes me want to bring a stiff cup of coffee and a belt felt weapon into the F&I office! After searching for a few days here in South Florida, I had just about given up, but unbeknownst to me, my better half was on the web searching for the exact vehicle I wanted and found it at Heuberger in about 3 minutes. When she told me about the car and the location my first reaction was to dismiss the entire thing. She then showed me the price and I continued to think "no way is this possible...this is how they get you over the internet...there has got to be a myriad of hidden charges and fees and the like..." Also, think about all the possible complications, and issues of purchasing a vehicle over the internet. it's not like buying a book on Amazon or eBay! However, my interest was piqued and I dialed the number...it was a Saturday and I honestly wasn't expecting much at all. The call went right through to the internet department and a salesperson named DAVID ANTHONY picked up. So as I begin the conversation and give him the vehicle number I was looking at I begin to think "OK, here we go...the "fun" starts now..." DAVID ANTHONY listened attentively to every word I said, and believe me I had a mouthful after dealing with the a$$clowns down here in South Florida. It was apparent to me pretty much from moment one that DAVID ANTHONY was a total rock star! Aside from being an all around great guy to deal with, his professionalism, knowledge, follow up, and ETA's were stellar. I was looking at an STi, and the guys that buy these vehicles pretty much know more about them than the average person buying the average car....call it a sickness! As I mentioned, after talking with salespeople here in South Florida, I can tell you that most don't really "get it" as in the STi culture and driver. They simply see a higher priced Subaru, know a few buzz words and some nifty stories. Not the kind of thing an STi buyer wants to hear. DAVID ANTHONY not only totally gets it, he speaks the language and most likely knew what I was going to ask for before I even did...you could tell that this guy has sold a few of these in his day! DAVID ANTHONY is also the kind of guy you'd most likely have as a friend if you were to run into him in a bar or party setting. He is kind, funny, intelligent, and quick witted. We are looking at another Subaru purchase possibly this year and I am not interested in dealing with anyone else but DAVID ANTHONY...end of story....the man wears a halo in my book! OK so let's discuss pricing.... As I mentioned above, I was very specific about the color, options and accessories I was looking for and even if I would have been able to find something similar locally the pricing was abusive after seeing Heuberger's pricing. Before I even got them on the phone the pricing was a few thousand dollars less. Also to note, the Heuberger car had more options that I was looking for and still had a lower price. Then I start talking to DAVID ANTHONY and before I ask for the final pricing he hits me with "lemme' see what I can do for you on that price". I thought I didn't understand him correctly as in "wait a second, I can get a discount on this already ridiculously low price....no way!" So he comes back to me with an even lower number and my jaw dropped. I felt like a fool as I had to ask him to verify if we were still talking about the same vehicle with the same options...I simply could not believe this was possible. The only thing left was the shipping issue, Heuberger is thousands of miles away from me and I "thought this is where they get you!". NOT TRUE AT ALL. The car was shipped a few days after it arrived on the lot from Japan and all the options were installed. The car got from Colorado to South Florida in 5 days. Financing and Paperwork DAWN PATTERSON is another one of the halo wearers at Heuberger. Normally I don't purchase extended warranties but the deal she offered me was another "too good to be true: scenario. I ended up getting a better interest rate and a lower monthly payment that I estimated. If I remember correctly the bulk of the conversation centered around making sure addresses and contact details were correct, not haggling over pricing and the like. I would normally say that this was another pleasant surprise but at this stage of the deal I was expecting the same amount of ease and professionalism as I had experienced in every stage prior to this one. DAWN PATTERSON totally delivered in spades and then some! She knew her stuff and was not pushy in any way. This is not to say that she didn't attempt to sell other packages, because she did. But she simply explained all the other services to me as a good salesperson should, talked about their merits, and waited to hear my responses to each one. When she realized that some of the products and services would not be a good fit for me, she moved along to the next one...zero pressure and good listening skills. The paperwork issue was again handled flawlessly. It was quite easy to understand, sign, and return (and all paid by Hueberger via FedEx overnight). Registering an out of state car can be a total nightmare as I learned when I received all the paperwork and the check for the state tax. I thought that there would have to be a glitch or an issue that would force me to contact Heuberger and overnight me some form or certified document. Wrong Again! Everything was spot on perfect, in fact I left the tag agency without having to write and check and .63 cents change! In closing I can say that I am a believer in Heuberger and wouldn't ever go to a local dealer again...perhaps only for a test drive! I could not be any happier with the entire process and how it all actually played out in real life and in real time. Again, it is a shame that this survey only allows me to give Heuberger a possible score of 5. After my dealings with them a mere 5 is a total insult! THANK YOU HEUBERGER! 2014 Sti Hatchback More

My local dealer was one of those that wants to add thousands to MSRP and then expects you chisel away at that. No thanks! Off to Colorado Springs for a mini-vacation to visit my brother near Denver and a superb drive back home to California with my new vehicle! Clint was prompt and polite throughout our interactions. This was unlike any experience buying a new vehicle before. No pressure, no silly games, just a great price on a great new Forester. One observation, and this is a good thing, is that persistence is the opposite of what you probably are accustomed to with "normal" car buying. Clint and the others are busy, so you need to be a little persistent to reach them and work through the details. Compare this to the traditional dealers that want to hound you repeatedly by phone and email. Put me in charge of persistence every time! I am working on some Subaru wannabe owners I know to convince them to follow in my footsteps and to work with Clint on that new Subaru they are looking at. What a great price and experience this was for me. I am glad that I went to pickup my Forester and got to briefly visit Colorado Springs and the Heuberger Motors folks. Buy your new car here and with Clint. You will be glad you did! More
I bought from Clint via the FT86 Forums. He was straight-forward with pricing, and made it so that I could afford a new BRZ. Buying from out of state, I was initially trepidatious, but Clint won m straight-forward with pricing, and made it so that I could afford a new BRZ. Buying from out of state, I was initially trepidatious, but Clint won me over. Heuberger Motors picked me up at the Airport, drove me down, and walked me through finalizing the details. The car was ready for me, with low miles, and in mint condition -- they even thawed out the wheels so that I could leave same-day when it was 5F out. Financing was also straight-forward, and they were willing to match (and best) offers from my bank. Thanks Clint, and Heuberger Motors! More
Had the pleasure of ordering my new Subaru WRX STI from Clint Earhart with Heuberger Motors. Clint updated me with the progress of the build and the next steps involved with the process. When the car arrived, he sent me photos of the vehicle. At this point I was fortunate to work with Dawn Patterson, who walked me through the finance and other option process. She was quite efficient and professional in her work. Everything worked just like she said it would, paperwork was sent to the house (overnight) you sign and send it right back. BOOM....done! The care was cleaned up and shipped to my house.....the trucking company calls and gives you the ETA. Very hassle free. Would I do it again.....DEFINITELY! But only if I get to work with Clint and Dawn again! Car arrived last week, and is now fitted with new snow tires, window tint, and clear bra. More

Fantastic dealership. Clint is very straight forward and provides a completely different dealership experience. This guy even replies to texts in the middle of the night. Detail oriented and checks in to see that everything is going good. If you want a BRZ, Clint is your guy. Dawn was also very friendly and just as helpful as Clint. Absolutely no trouble, paperwork was simple. Finally, this dealership does not pressure you at all for extras. They'll inform you about it, but they never push the sale which makes the experience so much more comfortable. More

The price Clint offered me was so great there was no need to negotiate. Trully the best car purchasing experience. If you want a subaru, even if you are not in Colorado. Clint is your guy. More

They showed me the advantages and disadvantages of all my options, which allowed me to pick what was best for me. They were friendly, not pushy, and helped me get exactly what I wanted. It was my first time buying a new car and they helped me set everything up that I needed to, gave me a step-by-step guide of what I needed to do once I left, and helped me through all of the paperwork. They made the experience pleasant and made me feel like I was more than just a customer, but part of the family. More
