After good experiences in the Denver area test driving several makes of cars my wife and I decided on the Subaru Forester. But, when we were ready to buy, their online prices didn’t seem that good or the several makes of cars my wife and I decided on the Subaru Forester. But, when we were ready to buy, their online prices didn’t seem that good or they wanted to “deal” based on another dealer’s price. That made us very uncomfortable. Looking for something better, we discovered Clint Earhart and Heuberger Motors. The reviews here at DealerRater were so good it was hard to believe. Finally, figuring there’s nothing to lose, we emailed him about the car we were interested in. Within 30 minutes we had a great price on the car we wanted. It was in transit and would be there in a few weeks. A few emails and a couple of phone calls later and we were picking up our new car. (Or you can have it delivered) To spare you further details, I can say that our experience was the same as other reviewers here. We got a great upfront price on exactly what we wanted. There was no pressure or dealership games. When we closed there were no surprises. Clint and Heuberger made us feel valued. Maybe (or not) there’s a better price out there, but there’s also value in getting what you want in a timely manner from someone you can trust. Clint at Heuberger, that’s your man! More
I purchased a 2014 Subaru BRZ from Clint. I really wouldn't have believed myself to even think of buying a car (let alone a new one) out of the state I resided in (CA). I've always known I wanted the wouldn't have believed myself to even think of buying a car (let alone a new one) out of the state I resided in (CA). I've always known I wanted the BRZ. When pricing was announced officially for the car, I was very excited because it was affordable for me. When the car was publicly ready for sale, I looked online to see pricing and to my surprise most of the cars were marked above $30k in Southern CA and I began to worry that maybe this car was now realistically out of my budget. Still, I decided to pop into a dealership and see what they could offer. The dealers were nice enough in regards to selling a car and after test driving a 2013 one, we sat down to discuss. When we asked for the quote they exaggerated that the best possible offer they can provide was MSRP. Living a modest life, I didn't want to pay MSRP, I wanted to walk out of a dealership knowing I came out with a good deal I can boast about rather than feel like a dealer who suckered me into buying a car while they reaped all the profits from an inexperienced car buyer. So I was really lucky to fall upon Clint's thread in the ft86club.com forum. Thanks to a several handful of people he already sold the car to, hands down he seemed to be the only guy to buy any Subaru car from in this entire world. Clint is great. He turned an experience that is typically stressful and time consuming into one of the most easiest processes. I had my doubts before I talked to him, it sounded a bit crazy buying a car out of state, but reading reviews, many individuals gushed about how much money they saved even after either flew out to pick it up or had them shipped to their homes. So I finally sent him an e-mail and he called back within 15 minutes. It was the best phone conversation I had with any dealer in my life. I didn't prepare myself to haggle and I didn't need to. His quote was music to my ears. His company's approach to car selling is what every dealer should be adopting doing now. There is an increased number of individuals out there who are a lot more informed in purchases like these and refuse to be taken advantage of. I immediately shelled out my $1,000 deposit with Clint and after explaining next steps, I waited a little over a month for the car to arrive. Throughout the wait, Clint answered any questions I had. His responses were quick and very informative and his doors were virtually open all day despite being off office hours. When the car arrived, I was introduced to Dawn, the Finance Manager who was just as equally great as Clint. She was very nice, patient and informative when explaining all the numbers to me. She seemed very passionate too about saving people money and providing a good warranty deals to better take care of our own cars. She explained all the necessities of the paperwork and she sent an overnight FedEx. After filling it out I sent it back with the FedEx overnight envelope they prepared for me and about a week after I flew out to Denver. A nice guy by the name of Kyle picked us up and about an hour later we arrived. Clint had our car all washed and ready for us. He showed us everything about our car and how it should be driven during the breaking-in period and after snapping a few photos we were on our way back home to LA. Everything Clint provided for us was great. From his amazing quote all the way to recommending us to Ted's Montana Grill on the way home. More

This is a car dealership, but there was LITERALLY no haggling involved and with that price (beat my local SoCal dealers by over $2500 INCLUDING shipping!) you don't need to! The experience was a giant breath of fresh air, you can tell Clint really cared about us and our buying experience. When the car arrived at the dealer he even took a picture and video for us to see! Clint is very easy to talk to and a very down to earth person, not like your average car salesman who is down your throat 24/7. I will highly recommend Clint & Heuberger Motors to anyone I meet who is in the market for a new car! More
I recently bought my 2014 Forester Subaru from Heuberger Motors with the assistance of Jim Adams. Please keep in mind that this my first real purchase of a brand new vehicle as I am a 24-year old female and am the only child who never had to do anything on her own before. My first initial interaction with Jim was through my mother who found my vehicle online and we had many questions since we were not residents of Colorado. Despite that fact, Jim was extremely helpful and accommodating to every question and concern that I had regarding the vehicle. Jim not only made him available to my mother and I 24/7, but went out of his way to make sure that my mother and I both have the exact same information in order for us to move forward with my purchase. I am in the hospitality industry working for a luxurious hotel brand and I have to say that Jim is the epitome of excellence in his industry. Jim was not forceful or annoyance, but was a total pleasure to work with. I am very grateful for his assistance and when I had an opportunity to express my gratuity for his assistance via internet with this review, I jumped to opportunity immediately. I rarely write reviews on internet as I feel that they are not as accurate or precise as the reviewers themselves since experiences are usually biased. However, believe me when I say I will definitely be recommending my friends and family to Jim (and we have) when we are needing assistance with another Subaru. Once again, thank you very much Jim for all of your assistance and time. You've made my first vehicle purchase very pleasant and easy. I truly appreciate all of your efforts and hard work. More

Buying a new car always brings me a certain amount of fear and anxiety. With all of the conveniences we enjoy today, haggling with a car dealer over price, and the uncertainty of the "deal" you get seem fear and anxiety. With all of the conveniences we enjoy today, haggling with a car dealer over price, and the uncertainty of the "deal" you get seem like an outdated way of doing business. Add to this some dealers questionable practices to raise the price by tacking on overpriced features (VIN etching, nitrogen-filled tires, pinstriping, etc) and buying a new car is something we dread. These are some of the reasons I had put off buying a new car for a while, and for the relief I felt when I stumbled across Clint's Heuberger Motors posting through ft86club.com. I initially blew off the posting as "not worth the trouble", but a growing number of actual car owners were posting about the good experience they had buying a car from Clint. Most reported saving thousands of dollars, and with minimal hassle. Eventually I decided to give it a shot and see what sort of pricing I could get for a 2013 BRZ. I received a reply from Clint very quickly, even though had many other orders in the pipeline at the time. To my surprise, the pricing was lower than I anything I had seen even for the lower spec version of the car. It wasn't long before I made up my mind, and started the buying process with Clint. To me it seemed unheard of to take an initial offer without even considering haggling over it, but the price was that good. I live on the east coast, and Clint was able to get me an estimate on the shipping cost that, even when factored into the car price, was better than what I believed was possible locally. Clint made contact by phone, and we discussed what options and model specifics I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable and it was obvious he not only knew the cars, but was a car enthusiast himself. The next time we talked, he explained that Subaru was no longer shipping new 2013s, and the next cars matching what I was looking for would be the 2014 model year. I was prepared to wait several months before I could hope to receive the vehicle. Little did i know, Clint would be calling me a few weeks later not just to tell me that the car would be there soon, but that it had just arrived! From there I talked with Dawn, who took my best credit offer and beat it by over half a percent. As other people have mentioned, she was not pushy about warranties and the like, and with no hassle we had worked out the details of financing. I had my paperwork the next day, and soon heard from Clint that the car would be headed my way (with pictures and video no less). The car came in a day early, surprising even the dispatchers, and Boris (the driver of the truck) was very friendly and helpful with a quick nighttime check up on the car. He briefly explained the 24 hour damage claim window, and my mind was set at ease over the coating of road grime from the long journey from Colorado. After a thorough washing the next day, I didn't see any damage of any kind. In the end, I've got the car I wanted a couple months earlier, several thousand dollars cheaper, and with absolutely no hassle or pressure. It appears my experience with this process is similar to many others, so if you're looking for a new Subaru I would wholeheartedly recommend giving Clint a call. I certainly will, and have already recommended him to several of my friends (who brags about their car dealer!? you will!). More

My wife and I had been looking at the BRZ and FR-S ever since they came out with a sometimes weekly visit to our local dealerships to see their in stock inventory (wanted to see every color). I had pretty since they came out with a sometimes weekly visit to our local dealerships to see their in stock inventory (wanted to see every color). I had pretty much made up my mind that I wanted a Galaxy Blue Silica BRZ Limited MT, but was planning on purchasing a 14 with the VIP program. I was right in the middle of waiting for my 6 months to pass (for the VIP program) when I learned that GBS probably wouldn't be available as a MY14 color on the BRZ. We really weren't in a financial position to spend $29k on a car this fall besides the fact of not being able to locate a GBS within our state or a neighboring state. I was about to settle for a SWP MY14 (it's a great color too), when I stumbled upon Clint at Hueberger on ft86club. I've bought several used cars online over the past few years and have had several questionable experiences, to say the least. Not only did he have 1 GBS left unspoken for, but it had the same options that I wanted and was about $3k less than what my local dealers had them priced at. We decided to go for it. Clint was VERY easy to get ahold of. I'd imagine it could get confusing speaking with a husband and wife, between two different sets of texts, email accounts and phone numbers, let alone all of the customers he has. He never missed a beat though. He was always there to answer our questions and give honest feedback. As soon as our car arrived to his lot, he sent us a pic and video. It was our actual car, not just the same picture he sends everyone. We let Hueberger do our financing and felt as though we got a competitive interest rate. We dealt with Dawn, the finance manager. She gave it to us like it was, none of the usual dancing around crap that you normally get with dealers. If we didn't want an extra service or option, there was no pressure. They FEDEX overnighted our paperwork with very easy to figure out forms to sign. I really wanted to drive the car home as it would have been a blast and it would have been cheaper, but we decided to have it shipped as driving wouldn't work with our schedule. Shipping went pretty smooth overall. The delivery time kept getting pushed back further into the day. I was very apprehensive about having a car delivered in the dark. One call to Clint and most of my worries were gone. He mentioned that we had a 24hr claim window that she shipping company/driver "forgot" to mention. He also gave us tips on what to look for and whatnot. The delivery went smooth and the driver was extra careful while unloading our car. I thought I had found damage and I think the driver was more pissed than I was, but it was just bird poop, so no worries. Overall, my wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience with Clint and Dawn at Hueberger. Even after shipping, we were able to save about $2500. We were able to get the exact car we wanted. Our next Subaru purchase will def be from Hueberger motors. Unless you just like to spend extra money, I don't know why you would go elsewhere. More
The experience was fantastic. I was very particular about what car I wanted and in what color and special features. Herman never pressured me to change my mind (since the exact car I wanted was going to be t what car I wanted and in what color and special features. Herman never pressured me to change my mind (since the exact car I wanted was going to be two weeks out for delivery.) He walked me through what I needed to do to secure the car and what my payments would look like and got me in the area I wanted to be at. When the car arrived he and the others at Heubergers worked fast to get the car ready for me to pick up that afternoon. When I got there Herman walked me through the process and in the end my rate was even less then we had thought. He introduced me to the service department and walked me through the features of my car. I was very impressed with their customer service and friendliness. It was the first buying experience where I was not pressured into a car and they did a good job of making me feel comfortable as it was the first new car I have ever bought which at first seemed intimidating but Herman and the guys at Heubergers made it as simple as they could. Definitely would recommend these guys for anyone looking to buy a car. More
