Worst case scenario In 2008 I had a green Subaru Legacy with bumper stickers all over it. It stopped suddenly on the highway and I had it towed to Heuberger Motors in Col In 2008 I had a green Subaru Legacy with bumper stickers all over it. It stopped suddenly on the highway and I had it towed to Heuberger Motors in Colorado Springs, where I was told that it was not reparable. The mechanic offered to buy it for parts for $500. Maybe he wouldn't have approached a man with the same offer. I don't know. I know I didn't know enough about cars to know he was lying. Sadly, I bought a used Saturn for $2000. I could not afford to wait for a better car to come along. A week later a man called saying that my SON had sold the Subaru to him for $2500.00 but that he needed some additional paperwork from me. The mechanic had fixed my car for pretty cheap and re-sold it without re-titling it. He told the buyer he was selling it for his mom. I was livid. I wanted my car back. Mechanics are not allowed to buy customer cars. It is not legal to re-sell a car without re-titling it. Gunner Heuberger called me personally and apologized and promised that if I could unload the Saturn he would help me replace my car. Whatever I needed, he promised. He also promised disciplinary action. With that promise I agreed not to sue Heuberger. Now I have a Subaru that needs a new engine. It failed the official Subaru oil consumption test and needs a new engine (a new short block). It was covered under the 5 year power train warranty when I first bought it and it should be expiring right about now. Subaru, though, failed to obtain permission from Subaru corporate prior to my appointment today, so they called to cancel the 11:30 appointment at 11am. Gunner would not return calls after I left 4 separate messages. The shop will not pay to replace the engine. Gunner Heuberger is now THE best-selling Subaru dealership in the US and the wealthiest. He does not need your money. Please buy a Subaru elsewhere. There are several dealerships in Denver. It's worth the drive. This is not an ethical business. If they won't take care of me after stealing my car and illegally re-selling it, why would they take care of you? When a business participates in and covers up the illegal actions of it's employees, but promises to rectify that situation and doesn't, it's not a business that should be patronized. More

Heuberger Motors is the best We LOVE our 2016 Forester XT Touring!! When I first inquired about Foresters online, Jim Adams responded. Shortly after, we met for a test drive, and We LOVE our 2016 Forester XT Touring!! When I first inquired about Foresters online, Jim Adams responded. Shortly after, we met for a test drive, and right away I was impressed with Jim's knowledge of the Forester I was interested in buying. Jim patiently answered the many questions I asked( I ask lots of questions about everything to make sure I'm happy with the end results).
