Needless to say my trust in used car lots was pretty much shot! Nonetheless, I was in need of a vehicle and they had the make, model and trim of the car I'd searched for for weeks!! I wasn't sure what to expect from this place but I can assure you that they exceeded my expectations! Its clear that this lot specializes in foreign cars (BMW, Benz etc) which I was not in search of not to mention that I'm not a customer that has the best of credit but that didn't stop these guys from treating me as they would a customer with a pocket full of money and A1 credit!! My salesman Joe Scarpino was the best. He listened to my horror story of being taken advantage of the previous week and made sure to take my fragile state into consideration when selling me my car with no pressure whatsoever. He was such a sweetheart! I can't give him all the glory though. I commend Ali and his partners for the way they run their business! They made sure to introduce themselves to me and involve themselves in the sales process. Their finance/insurance guy Rob was pleasant as well and openly answered all of my questions (I had a butt load of them and read EVERYTHING line by line) leaving no mystery as to what I was signing when finalizing my paperwork. No negotiating but it's not really needed I was disappointed in the fact that there is no negotiating but it was well compensated with the great value of the vehicle. I am one of those people who welcome all the used car salesmen techniques, I play along with all their tricks, from telling me how great a price it is to rolling out the heavy guns in a form of a manager that railroads anything you say and holds you hostage until you sign the papers. If you know what you are doing, you can easily bargain with those guys and show them who the boss is with some tactical applications of certain verbal techniques. Hi-line is different. They start with a great price on great vehicle. You can't bargain it down because you can't use the usual stuff, can't play them against the competition, the market value, the book value. In my particular case, they got all those beat by several thousand. They let me try to bargain to be nice to me. So, if you are into haggling and bargaining, you will be disappointed, but they will make you feel better by giving you the hands-down best deal. You don't have to haggle--you can't anyway. More
