Ken Hiller opened the doors to Hiller Ford on May 1, 1954. Originally called Hales Corners Motors, the dealership was located in the village of Hales Corners. In the summer of 1959, Ken moved the dealership to its current location on Highway 100, one-half mile south of Hales Corners to the city of Franklin. As Franklin, Hales Corners and the rest of the area grew, so did Hiller Ford. Today, Hiller Ford is one of the largest Ford dealerships in the state of Wisconsin. Hiller Ford has won Ford's prestigious President's Award for customer satisfaction and sales leadership 15 times! In closing, I'd like to say it has been a privilege to serve our fine customers over the past 65 years. We have been very fortunate to be a part of the great community we serve. Nick, The 2008 Nissan Quest purchased on 8/2/2014 came with a three month, 4000 mile Ford Royal Shield protection. At the time of sale additional extended service plan coverage was offered for purchase that would of provided coverage beyond the three month 4,000 miles, that additional coverage was declined in writing. One month after the purchase the starter needed replacement, we took care of it NO charge. After that there was an underbody concern which was our responsibility, we took care of that as well NO charge. Now after 10 months and 16,000+ miles the engine has failed. You also told our Used Car Manager that you had the timing chain on the engine replaced by a friend. The diagnosis at the Nissan dealership for the engine failure was the failure of the timing chain. Due to the elapsed time (10+ months), the 16,000+ miles driven, and having the failure of the timing chain, (which you had replaced) as being the cause of the engine failure, leads us to conclude this is not our responsibility. We are regulated by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. If you feel we are being unfair you can contact them and they will review the situation.
