This is the type of dealer that makes people cringe at the car buying experience. - Refused to sell an F150 Platinum to me for the price they advertised online (and I am not including the dealer add-on the car buying experience. - Refused to sell an F150 Platinum to me for the price they advertised online (and I am not including the dealer add-ons). - The F150 was not even new as advertised but actually a loaner/ courtesy vehicle (and yes I understand these can be sold as new, but this should be disclosed). - Mileage due to it being a loaner was not as advertised but rather 550 miles rather than 5 miles. Crazy thing is that I was willing to pay the advertised price. But they told me they had to wait 11 days to sell it to me for the special promotion. I said that I agreed to wait 11 days. That threw a wrench in their shady plan as they then said that the price was only valid for today. In summary: I agreed to buy a new F150 at the fully listed online price. They let me know it was not new, had 550 miles, and they would not even honor the advertised price. Terrible, terrible experience. So glad I figured out the bad business practices via text when I had only driven an hour rather than almost 2 hours. More
