Got a great price on an Accord I was in the market for a new car and didn't want to haggle on price. I went to the AAA website and requested their negotiated rate for the Accord Sed I was in the market for a new car and didn't want to haggle on price. I went to the AAA website and requested their negotiated rate for the Accord Sedan line including Sport and Ex. Someone from AAA emailed me and asked which dealer I preferred to work with. I picked one local dealer, Hondacity, that proceeded to waste my time and would only give me a final price if I came in to the dealer. I then picked Hillside Honda since it was the next closest dealer. Their Intetnet Sales rep emailed me their e-price sheet. It was the best price I could find and as long as the extras didn't creep in, I would be very happy. I made an appointment and came down on a weekend, which was very busy. The salesman had a good price printed out on a sheet of paper but it was about 700 more than the e-price. I showed my salesmen the email and he got the price approved in less than a minute from one of the managers. BTW, the managers are at a counter out in the open, very transparent. I went for a test ride and then it was time to visit the guy in the small office. The finance manager went over the warranty, and asked if I wanted an extended warranty or alarm. I declined both and he was very low pressure about it. I picked up the car the next day and it was ready on time. In summary a great deal and everyone treated me professionally. In a perfect world I would have been shown all the options on the car, but they focused on the tech screens which definitely confuse most people. In summary, very happy with the car and the deal I got. More
