I was looking to purchase a certified pre-owned Honda Accord for my mom and since Hillside Honda had a an excellent Better Business Bureau rating and was close to her home we decided to go there. As we entered the dealership Larry immediately cheerfully greeted us. We explained to him the vehicle we were looking for. At the time our specifications were generally difficult to find in a pre-owned vehicle and they had not had a good fit for us but offered to show us alternatives. Since this was the first dealership we went to, we decided to visit some other dealerships to see their options. Larry was not pushy. He actually cared about our best interest and told us to come back to see him if we couldn’t find the very specific car we were looking for or if he had any new inventory that matched our specifications. We ended up going to a few dealers including a non-Honda dealership. None of them had the car we were looking for so we realized we were being unrealistic with our expectations. In addition we had horrible experiences with sales people lying to us and being extremely pushy to just get a sale done. We decided to go back to Larry and ended up purchasing a vehicle we liked. We went back because Larry was honest and the customer service was excellent from the beginning. This dealership actually cares about their customers and wants to provide a pleasant buying experience. Tony and Mike, the managers were also helpful. What really shocked me was how supportive of each other that they were. When I left with my mom, another salesperson congratulated us on our purchase. At a lot of other dealerships salespeople are just fending for their own and could careless about another salespersons client, not realizing people are observing their behavior. BOTTOM LINE: If you want a pleasant, honest, non-pushy environment to buy a car, this is the place to go. The pricing was also competitive. I highly recommend it. More

My experience at Hillside Honda was quite disappointing, I have never been treated like this by a car dealership. I went on a crisp Sunday morning to the dealership to buy a new Civic. I had already settled for the car and was approved by Roadloans.com, a partner of Hillside Honda. I told the manager in charge that that's the way I wanted to go, and he said it would be no problem. The salesperson and I agreed to a price, and then he called my insurance to have the coverage switch out to a new Civic. And then the problems started. I met with the person in charge of finance, Craig Bono, and he said there were problems with my credit. I told him I was aware of those, which is why I brought an approval from Roadloans.com. "Yeah, but those take a week to pay us", he said, and demanded I go through the Honda Financial process. I did, there were questions in the air and I left the dealership without my car. The next morning the salesman called me and said that everything would be squared away soon. Then two days passed and I didn't hear from them. The salesman called me again, said that Mr. Bono had some demands about my credit history. I replied that I already had spoken to him about it, at which point he said that Mr. Bono would call me back. It's been a full month and I'm still waiting for Mr. Bono to call me back. I left him voicemails and sent him e-mails to his peculiar e-mail address. I was flabbergasted since no one (not even the salesperson) decided to call me back. I had to switch the insurance in my car (since Hillside Honda had effectively sent me home without proper insurance). Apparently they did not care. Once I realized Hillside Honda not only didn't want my business but didn't even want to explain the reason why (I was, after all, approved) I went to a competing dealership. Four hours later I was fully financed and was driving my brand-new car out the door. Hillside may look very slick, but it treated me quite shabbily. And lost a customer. If they were the only dealership in a 50-mile radius, their behavior would be more understandable. But they're not. More

She was very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and professional. She made every effort to get me the car and deal that I wanted. She was great. I went to a few dealerships prior to Hillside Honda, and my experience with those dealerships were very negative. A friend had recommended Hillside Honda, so I checked out their used inventory and had foun my experience with those dealerships were very negative. I called up the dealership and spoke to Natalie who told me they will make sure the car I like is still there tomorrow. Overall my experience with this dealership was very pleasant. When my boyfriend and I arrived the next day, we were immediately greeted and were introduced to Jaime Wong. Instead of filling out paper and wasting time like other dealerships, he asked if we wanted to take a test drive. From there we drove to my mechanics in NHP, came back and filled out the paper work to buy the car. Jaime showed us what was inspected for the car to be considered certified. He described and explained the procedure, and he gave us a copy of the carfax. Hillside Honda definitely is a place that I will recommend people to go to. Very pleasant experience, and the employees were knowledgeable! More
