My experience was friendly from the moment I entered the showroom. The origianal salesperson (Jon) was a gentleman, well groomed and honed in on what we needed. I left happy, knowledgeable, but not convinced till I came in the next day. Mike was professional from the beginning, friendly and answered every question my son-in-law posed to him. His friendliness yet professionalism, is impeccable. I also went to two Toyota dealerships considering the Corolla. I had poor experiences in both. I felt rushed, pressured, and they seemed bothered by all my son-in-law's "knowledge." When I took a test drive the following day, Mike was there but not Jon. tony took over and was gracious and also made us feel comfortable. I am leasing and love my new Honda Civic. When I walked into Hillside Honda I was only planning on "window shopping." I am a first time buyer and had actually just gotten my license 2 days prior. My sales man, Gerard, was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed me some excellent used cars. It only took me a minute before I found a car I was smitten with. The condition, mileage and price of the car was beyond fair and definitely worth it so I decided to see if I could afford financing it. I was extremely happy with the customer service and the fact that all the paperwork, including comparing insurance prices and getting insurance, car inspection, registration, license plates, servicing, installing lojack, etc. was all done for me at Hillside Honda and I was able to leave with my car that same day and not have to worry about inspections or going to the DMV for plates, registration, title, or anything else. They actually do it ALL for you. Also worth mentioning is Caroline, she helped me with the paperwork for financing the car, and was a delight to be serviced by. My car runs great and I love it. I would recommend Hillside Honda to any first time buyer as well as anyone whose looking to buy a new or used car. Honda's are excellent cars to own and I couldn't be happier with my purchase and with how I with the excellent customer service and professionalism I was met with. More
First and foremost was the dealerships willingness to negotiate a fair price. Kyle my dealer was extremely friendly and non judgmental. I didn’t necessarily dress to impress. He quickly sensed how I wanted to work out a deal and handled it accordingly, unlike a couple of other Honda dealers that I visited. I felt I mattered. It made my decision to buy here easy. His personal customer service has so far been beyond reproach. He has tirelessly worked with me to resolve some minor issues and I continue to be very happy with my overall experience. Mainly because of him I feel I will be a part of the Hillside Honda family for some time to come. this was the worst experience ever they are so unfriendly,you have to beg for help then when someone actually acknowledges that you're there they're still reluctant to help.looking around the show unfriendly,you have to beg for help then when someone actually acknowledges that you're there they're still reluctant to help.looking around the showroom asking questions all you get are one word answers,if they notice you're looking at more than one car it seems as if they get frustrated,'m paying for this it's not being given to me for free,so on that note i think i should be able to carefully weigh my options my husband and i were there for literally 20 mins. and the salesman was already trying to pass us off to someone else we were looking for a particular car asked if they had any b/c there were none in the showroom the salesman said "oh yeah we have a lot at the other site" took us there left us and there was only 1 single car in the yr,mk, and model we were looking for i was so upset and if you're hoping to negotiate on a price don't even think of going there they are the most expensive i only tried to negotiate b/c we went to another dealership and they had the same cars for much less but hillside was closer to our home so we figured we'll go there since they have the same cars.i will never ever in my life go back there even if they were the last dealership on earth. The internet manager is the only one out of 8 dealerships that responded quickly and sent me literature. She introduced us to manny and we worked out a deal. I did find the dealership a little showy but i guess thats what works. My main objective was to get the right price and i feel i got. just wish dealerships in general would scrap all the xxxxxxxx after charges and just be honest w/ the customers, but this is the business,i guess? also worked w/ mike the manager and he seemed very good at what he does. I recently received a letter from the head of honda stateing there were a recall on my car. a friend of mine told me about hillside honda how great there are I was a bit affraid because I never been th stateing there were a recall on my car. a friend of mine told me about hillside honda how great there are I was a bit affraid because I never been there before nor bought my car from there so I thought they were going to refused me being that a recall is free, I was totally wrong I called them, they just asked me for my info since they didnt have no info of the veh on file. my service rep it was vinnie he helped me a lot and I was able to get an appt the following day from now on Im coming to hillside honda!! excellent service..
