By using the internet, I narrowed my search for a Honda dealer and again on the internet made contact with one of their internet sales force. Joesph Patinino was helpful courteous and knowledgeable about H dealer and again on the internet made contact with one of their internet sales force. Joesph Patinino was helpful courteous and knowledgeable about Honda new and used vehicles in stock. He kept in contact and encouraged me to come in for a cup of coffee and see for myself why Honda should be my next car provider. We made an appointment and I that is when I first met Darryl. Darryl is the kind of sales person who you think of as a caring friend who will do his best to ensure that you are not going to be disappointed with what will be a major purchase. Over several cups of coffe and after test driving three used and two new Hondas he took me through the Service Department to reassure me that Hillside Honda's concern for my patronage will not end as soon as I sign on the dotted line. It was an enjoyable afternoon. I did not buy the car that day. Non the less, as I left, Darryl's verbal and non verbal communications supported the impression that he would rather that I be satisfied with what is in my interest and not just what benefited Hilside Honda. Two days later Joe called me up to find out if my Honda experience was a satisfactory one and would I still be interested in purchasing a Honda. Two days latter I returned with my wife and daughter. We took two more test drives and discussed my needs and expectations. Again I did not sign on the dotted line but keept the Civic in mind as one on my short list. The next day Joe called me and asked if I was still satisfied with Hillside Honda and would I like to come in again. I said yes but did not commit. Two days latter after going to Lee's Toyota where I asked for a Corolla and a Prius brochure, the salesman told me to "download the brochures from my computer". That told me a lot about Lee's Toyota I then knew that I had to make my purchase decision based not only on the reputation of the vehicle but more importantly on the relationship with the Dealer. I walked out of Lees and crossed the street to Hillside Honda. I saw Darryl who was genuinely happy to see me. We sat down had some more coffee, crunched the numbers and made the deal. Hillside Honda was so efficient that the car I wanted, equipped the way I wanted it and in the color I wanted was prepped, checked, plated, polished and turned over to me that same day.
