Overall the experience was great at the dealership. The representative was very attentive. He also gave me an immediate test drive of the vehicle so I can see how it truly performed and to see if i was gen representative was very attentive. I came into this dealership with one goal in my mind...getting the best price possible for my very first car. I had visited several other dealerships such as: Paragon, Major world, Potamkin, and M mind...getting the best price possible for my very first car. I was greeted by the most pleasant and knowledgeable salesman Mr. Patrick Onyekweli, that was in 2005. I returned to trade in my 2006 Pilot for a 2009 CRV. Again I delt with Patrick, who was the same pleasant and knowledgeable guy who answered all my questions. I highly recommend Hillside Honda and especially Patrick to my friends which I have already done. More

I corresponded with Diane over the internet for two months, refusing to allow her my telephone number. I asked many questions, all of which were politely answered. She really went the extra mile to check stock and keep me advised of when the Civic I wanted (an EX) was "on sale". When I was ready to buy, Sunny was my sales rep. I have top praise for him REALLY working WITH me. Due to a war "event", I have a strong dislike of "being questioned" - and the first thing I told Sunny was that he was "forbidden" from asking me any questions. I know that makes it really tough for a "sales rep", but he honored my "problem" and did not ask me any questions. He patiently worked with and not against me. Sunny has to be one of the mellowest low pressure, genuinely helpful people I have ever met - not at all the stereotype "car salesman". Much more an "assistant" willing and able to assist in, but not try to "lead" the process. Truly outstanding! We worked a fair deal, based on an internet special. Hillside did NOT "pack" the vehicle with ANY "dealer add ons" that I did not want. The price on the internet was the price I paid - no forced "fabric conditioner or undercoating", etc.). Sunny even climbed in my car and helped to uninstall my ham radio! Perhaps the best part was the absolutely "no pressure" environment. I did my homework on the car buying process and was ready for WW3 - however my visit was more pleasant than a visit to Disneyland! I left with SAME DAY processing, my old car given a "fair value trade in", plates, registration, overview of controls, etc. One of my main reasons for driving 14 miles (from my home in Manhattan) to Hillside, when I have a Honda dealer 1/4 of a mile away; was the many positive reviews in this forum.
