we leased a new KIA SPORTAGE and did not know it did not come with spare tire. Now ur vacation plans to disney World 300 miles away and to Sanibel Island 200 miles away are stopped. THEY DID NOT KEEP RECORDS OF MY WARRANTY, so when I could not find the warranty paperwork, they said they "have no way of finding the warranty information." I purchased a used Kia Soul in 2019 based upon th not find the warranty paperwork, they said they "have no way of finding the warranty information." I purchased a used Kia Soul in 2019 based upon the extended warranty that the finance manager gave me. In less than two years, I moved and then when I went to get something fixed (struts) at a different dealership, they could not help me with the warranty...they said it was likely given to me only to be used at the one dealership where I purchased the car. I then called the original dealer to check on that in-store version of the warranty, and they not only had no record of it, but they continuously transferred me to people who either just hung up the phone or never answered. Now I am operating under the assumption that since I cannot find my warranty paperwork, I will not get to use the extended warranty that I was promised. More
I bought from this dealership because they had a used S550 in the exact color I wanted. From the first visit I was not very happy due to having to drive almost an hour just to get to the dealership for t S550 in the exact color I wanted. From the first visit I was not very happy due to having to drive almost an hour just to get to the dealership for them to tell me "We don't have that car we already sold it". I called ahead and made an appointment for the vehicle that was confirmed to be there that same day. I was then offered BMWs and a Maserati to look at. I didn't drive almost an hour to go check out cars I had absolutely no interest in. I came there specifically for that car. I gave my contact information to DeAndre to reach out to me if the vehicle pops up. If it wasn't for his customer service and honest approach during the whole first interaction I wouldn't even have bothered going back there for anything. He did reach out the day after and guess what the dealer did have the car. Even though the group of sales rep told me it was already sold. The car did need a bit of TLC but that was fine because the most important things were in great shape for a 6 year old car. We did a test drive and I purchased the vehicle the same day. DeAndre really made it for a good experience overall so if I could rate him seperately I would put 5 stars. The dealer sold me the vehicle for around 45k taxes included. They refused to sell me the vehicle with a full tank of gas too. I guess I got too used to Mercedes dealers where they would top off any vehicle you purchased from them with a full tank of gas. I found this to be extremely petty of a dealership to not value their customers enough to even offer basic things for a used car almost 45k in value such as topping off the empty windshield wiper fluid, full tank of gas or even the little to non coolant the car was sold with. First experience dealing with a Kia dealer and most likely my last. Only reason it's not a definite last is due to DeAndre. If another car pops up that I want and DeAndre is the one to get it for me. You can bet for sure I'll be there to buy it from him. Thank you DeAndre for turning my experience around. And thank you Hollywood Kia for the empty window washer fluid, low coolant and the few gallons of gas left over from test drives. More
