Their deals are a sham! I went to the dealership yesterday after contacting internet sales due to reading their billboards that advertise certain prices for certain vehicles. I went to the dealership yesterday after contacting internet sales due to reading their billboards that advertise certain prices for certain vehicles. I arrived at the location and asked for the internet salesperson who initially invited me to talk about a vehicle and to test drive one that I was interested in. The internet salesperson was not available (even though he/she specifically asked the time I was arriving to set an appointment) so I was directed to another salesperson. This sales person, while friendly, let me in on some disturbing news. The sales person told me that the deals advertised were a sham meant to bring in customers in and that the dealership had no intention on honoring what is advertised. Also when I was vague about the time frame of when I planned on purchasing the vehicle, the service stopped at that point. The salesperson cited ridiculous down payments and even larger monthly payments for the vehicles on the lot. Now I know that there are factors that control what you pay for a vehicle when you plan on leasing, but the salesperson didn't know my income, credit history, or anything about me to determine what my payments would be so that would lead me to believe that this dealerships intentions are to get the most out of customers without being honest about the true value that their product is worth. Also when I asked about checking my credit so that I could receive an accurate quote, I was told that the dealership did not do that. Again, the salesperson was very friendly and honest to a fault and this is why I will not mention names as I do not want anyone to get in trouble for the practices of the dealership. I actually appreciate being notified about the sham upfront so I could immediately leave and head to another KIA dealership and receive a better offer and service. All in all the best experience about going there is that now I know that I will never let them touch my business or the business of anyone I know as no one deserves to enter a commitment as large as buying/leasing a vehicle with a business that is unethical. More
