Transaction went very smoothly from negotiating the deal to delivery of the vehicle. Greg and Kerry worked hard to offer the vehicle and selected accessories at a price we were willing to pay. Greg kept us informed when the vehicle arrived and worked with us to ensure the pin striping we ordered was aligned with a picture that we provided. Greg also assisted me when the VIN number was not initially recognized by my insurance company. This helped ensure that all my insurance documentation was in place prior to delivery. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, everything was just as we ordered and requested. Greg walked through the various operating features of the car. He also helped me set up the BlueTooth access for my cell phones. The financial part of the transaction was the easiest that I have ever had. My overall experience was great. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. It was obvious that their goal was to provide excellent customer service. The quality of work on the installation of the additional accessories that I ordered was excellent. (5/5 stars) Came in at 10 am October 22 to buy a new Honda Fit and drove it out at 1 pm. Greg Eckert provided a smooth sales process, and I did not feel the need to haggle. The remainder of this rating contains comments on the sales experience and the price. I. Sales experience I am appreciative that Greg was mellow. He did not decorate the sales experience with irritating excitement. I was not attacked by an irritating advertisement during the test drive. He understood that I was set on the model and just wanted to make sure I could safely drive this car. He mostly gave directional instructions, briefly mentioned the safety ratings, helped check that turns were safe, and indicated when to try accelerating (I know the Fit has a small engine and wanted to make sure it could survive the highway). Greg followed up by phone the next day to see whether I had questions about my purchase. II. Honda of America follow-up I appreciate Honda of America doing a follow-up call with a well-defined rubric. This practice creates a concrete set of experiences that the dealer knows it is rated on being able to walk the customer through (which might explain why Greg insisted on explaining how to set up a radio station personalization even though I drive in silence). III. Inventory being moved Autosport just moved into a new building up the highway. If they are still moving inventory between lots (I think they were still doing that the week Superstorm Sandy hit), you might want to allow a little extra time for them to retrieve the car you wish to test drive (looking at the old lot and waiting for the car, I get the impression that the process resembles using a card catalog to find and then retrieve an archived library book from compact shelving). IV. Price Before I visited the dealership, I anticipated prices/fees/trade-in online (Consumer Reports, Edmunds.com, TrueCar for min/avg/max NJ doc fees, NJ MVC, and salvage auctions). The out-the-door price they proposed was what I anticipated. The lines items on the buyer's sheet were also each close to what I expected. They did not disguise the sticker price or anything like that. I felt that their first offer was reasonable compared to the distribution of out-the-door prices I estimated that other area shoppers were paying, so I did not feel pressured to haggle. More

We were Toyota Camry fans for almost 20 years. This year looking for a small SUV we decided to look into a CRV but were apprehensive having some negative experiences with Honda dealers around us. A couple of dealers were very good at everything except customer service and honesty and I was really thinking to wait until the new Toyota RAV4 is out and let go of Honda. But then decided to try this dealer. We signed the deal in 10 minutes to the satisfaction of all parties. Fair, honest, no pressure, no tricks dealer. Hope other people have the same experience, and that they will not change in the future.
