It was fine dealing with Steve, he was a good guy maybe a little tired from a long day but acceptable. Felipe Fuentes was a straight up jerk. He was very professional and listened to what I need, the price that I was expecting, and my expectation in purchasing the New 2013 Honda Pilot EX especially the handling of the price qoutation, that is, no hidden charges. I talked to him over the phone after I found in their website, the Blue Pilot that I liked. He listened to me about the Pilot EX that I wanted and the maximum price that I was willing to pay including the handling and delivery. But, of course, not including the tax because we cannot get away from the tax collector. He told me that he would call back so he could get the price that I was willing to pay. He called me after less than two hours and gave the good news. His pricing was very straight forward with no ADD ADD charges or hidden charges. I drove to the dealership from Fort Worth to McKinney (58 miles away) of the type of deal that we had. When I came in the dealership, the car was ready for test drive, right outside the door (on the side of the building). He explained to me the features of the New 2013 Honda Pilot EX rather than pressuring me to buy the unit, which most of the salesmen do. So I felt no pressure in purchsing the SUV. After I saw the outside and the inside of the Blue SUV, I asked to see the Red color Honda Pilot. He was very patient to get the Red SUV from the dealership lot under the heat of 1:00 p.m. Then I decided to test drive the Blue SUV in I-75. Then I noticed that the unit has only 23miles in it and noticed that there were lots of upgrade. First I saw was the Door Edge guard, the Fender wheel trim, the wheel locks, the tint on the both fron side windows, the pin point stripe paint on the side, and the all-weather floor mat. I knew that they were upgrades because it should not be there for an EX trim. Then I remembered what I read on their website that "Price does not include dealer installed equipment". So I talked to him about that thinking that those might be the hidden charges that I might meet during the signing. He told me that I don't have to worry about whatever upgrades I saw on the SUV because those would not affect the price we agreed since the price was already approved as what we agreed two days ago and I passed by lots of Honda dealership from Fort Worth going to McKinney because of the price that we agreed. That was the kind of salesman I was expecting to deal with. That means that after we hang-up the phone two days ago, we already sealed the price. Then he let me signed the paper with the price we agreed so the price would not be changed when it reached to the other department, the Finance dept. Thank you very much Paul for giving me a straight forward price with no hidden charges. Always look for Paul Sonneborn if you want to seal the price before you come in to the dealership. Richard.
