John and everyone we worked with at Honda Cars of McKinney were Great! John listened to what we wanted. We didn't feel the high-pressure we experienced at the other dealers. When we decided to buy, the rest of the process went smoothly, again without the high-pressure to buy all those add-ons. I'd definitely go back to Honda of McKinney to buy my next car! More

Around the first of July we bought a honda accord. The salesman Jason walked outside and greeted us. And asked if needed help I told him we were just looking. He then started to explain the different features that all had according to the trim. Well then he asked we wanted to test drive one so I picked a silver accord lx. We loved it but we didn't think we could handle the payments. He then got in contact with his manager Darryl golter and finance manager jimmy Rogers. Well they got together and gave us a good payment plan and best of all Were not upsidedown. They gave us a good deal and were surprised because the other car dealers wanted $ 6,000.00 down. We gave nothing down on the accord. AND got a reasonable car payment. It took them about 3 days but we drove the Honda unroll the paper work was done. Maybe our circumstance was different from other people. But you never know un Untill you try. Our credit is not all that but whose is. We have been turned down at other dealerships even the one where we bout our proviso us car ( new 2010 ) give them a try not all sales men are the same.but we all have our own opinion about how we have been treated. Everyone deserves a chance. They got one and we got one. Hope you go visit them. Oh and by the way we had no intention of buying a car JUST LOOKING. More

I came into the dealer with my Certified Honda still under bumper to bumper warranty. When I purchased my car there I didn't realize there was a major problem with the sound system until a friend of mi under bumper to bumper warranty. When I purchased my car there I didn't realize there was a major problem with the sound system until a friend of mine who used to know a car audio store mentioned it. So I took it in and they kept my car for about 2 weeks. They couldn't figure anything out and ended up replacing my front speakers. Months later my friend introduced me to a car audio technician, within 5 minutes he was able to locate a depolarized speaker in the back and voila, the sound was instantly changed, I could hear the full range. It's pitiful that a known dealer lacked the care to spend the time to trouble shoot my car which they kept for a couple weeks in order to fix a problem which required no additional hardware, just a few minutes of time to change the position of two wires. More

I stopped by McKinney Cars of McKinney looking for a car to replace my recenlty wrecked car. I was approached by a overly motivated saleman eager to meet his quota. He stated he does this everyday, and he knowsd what they were going to offer and he had several finance options he could offer and get this deal done today. He then stated his offer was only good for that day, well until 9pm, well before 9 because the lights are out and we are out of here at 9. Really, you think that is going to motivate me to buy a car? He was motiviated to help himself and himself only. I purchased a car the next day from Pat Lobb Toyota where I was able to deal with a saleman that took the time to build rapport and trust with me. People do business with those they TRUST and no trust was built in this visit to McKinney Cars of McKinney. More

My sales person, Derrick Turner, is absolutely the BEST!! My original buying experience with Derrick nearly 5 years ago was very easy, friendly and hassle-free. He worked with me to meet my needs and I left owning a brand new Honda Odyssey that has served me and my daughter very well. During the time I've owned the van Derrick sold me, he has called to check in on me numerous times but never too pushy about selling me an upgrade. I always felt he was genuinely interested in learning about my experience with my Honda and ensuring my overall satisfaction (and the Odyssey has been excellent). But today, Derrick made the top of my all-time favorite, ultimate Salesman list. I ran out of gas in the van, had a nice person stop and help me put 1 gallon of gas in my tank and then drove off, but my van still wouldn't start. Before I went to the expense of having it towed, something told me that Derrick would be able to help me. I called him at the dealership (Honda Cars of McKinney) and told him my predicament. He said I may need more gas, that just 1 gallon might not be enough to start it. He asked me to standby while he contacted his lead service manager who gave instructions on what to do. Turns out I did need at least 2 gallons to get it started again. Derrick called back to check on me and make sure I was safe and back on the road. He knows, and so do I, that I will be buying my next vehicle from him. Now THAT folks, is what you call great service, 5 years running strong. Thank you Derrick! More

Beware of the dishonesty at Honda Cars of McKinney. We spent hours negotiating with these guys and arrived at a deal which they ultimately could not follow through with. We were excited about picking up the new car the next morning only to find, according to them, it had been sold. Somehow, between closing time the previous night and the next morning, a mystery person bought the car. Now, maybe this miracle really happened. But my father-in-law had called anonymously an hour before we arrived to ask about it (to see what its features and cost were), and the salesperson at the other end of the phone stood before the vehicle describing it. Perhaps he was confused. In any case, wouldn't you think a manager would come talk to you personally when such a mix-up happens? The poor salesperson had to make all the apologies and go back and forth with alternative (more expensive) solutions. We declined and waited for the manager, but he was unavailable. More
