I would recommend this service center due to the exceptional cust service. The service people were caring and knowledgeable. Excellent service and followup to all questions. I had a concern reagarding internet pricing and was able to get a manager to provide me with an additional accessory for no additional charge. I took the car for a simple oil change, but after performing a total car "check", it was determined that the battery had failed its load test. Since my CRV was still under warranty, a new battery wa performing a total car "check", it was determined that the battery had failed its load test. Since my CRV was still under warranty, a new battery was installed and without any additional charges. Now that's service!!! More
We have had our Honda for almost 2 years. This dealership has great customer service! It is so easy to drop off the vehicle and it is done in a timely manner. I've had good experience at Honda Cars of McKinney both in sales and service. We've bought five cars from them and the service department is primarily why. I went in for my first oil change. I was greeted by Ian the drive manager and he was very professional. I was turned over to another service adviser. I waited for my oil change to be completed which took the drive manager and he was very professional. I was turned over to another service adviser. I waited for my oil change to be completed which took approx. 2 hours. When I received my car I departed the dealership and the car was driving normally. When I got to the George Bush Tollway, I tried to accelerate the car and it hesitated at 55 MPH, I pushed the gas pedal and it jumped and felt like it downshifted. I exited Alma road and headed back to the dealership. I reported the car problems and approx. 20 minutes later the service adviser took me back to where the car was being serviced where I got to speak with Michael in Team 2, he made me aware that the technician had not emptied the oil and merely added an extra 4 quarts of oil to my crankcase, which felt like a mass airflow sensor. The problem was corrected and it has been documented in your system. What concerns me is that the mistake that was made has severely shorted the life on the front and the rear main seals from oil pressure load. I was offered an free oil and rotate from Ian when departing but to me honest this was my first experience with your service department and it was slow and the job was poorly preformed. I do not know if my future service needs will be met by the dealership, I have to think on this for a while. More
They seem to care about how long people have to wait while their car is being worked on. My only "complaint" (for lack of a better word) is that I went in for an oil change and left spending way more t while their car is being worked on. It seems that this happens most of the time when I take my car in for service. I appreciate the maintenance reminders; however, the pricing seems to be higher than other car maintenance shops. More
I was happy with the overall service from Honda cars of Mckinney. I have a Honda Accord VP 200, in addition to my Honda Odyssey and alwsays bring in both cars for regular services to your dealership. I have given a 4 for frindileness becuase, when I cam in for the oil change and state inspection, I wish I would have been informed as soon as my car was ready, otherwise I had no problem with my adivsor.
