Honda Kingsport

We were lied to when we bought our car, there was a chip in the windshield and they told us it had been fixed. As soon as cold air hit the window it split all the way across the glass. I can't get it inspected in Virginia with a broken windshield. My insurance wont cover it because it was broken when it was bought. We already are paying more than I felt comfortable paying per month for a car. I can't pull $400 out of thin air to fix the window. I keep getting a run around every time I try to call. This will be the one and only car I ever buy from them. If it wasn't already to late I would return this one. It had the True Honda warranty which must mean absolutely nothing. Plus we bought the bumper to bumper powertrain warranty. $3000 extra for it to cover nothing. 2 weeks after we bought the car the check engine light came on and what showed up was the catalytic converter from the history. So they just turned it off before we bought it so that we didn't see that. The rear brakes are scrubbing, They did absolutely nothing to fix this car before selling it to us except hide all the bad. If i could give a -star I for sure would. This was our first time buying a car from a car lot. It has been the most horrible experience. I was already shocked that a $16,000 car ended up as a $30,000 car that is only worth $15,000 so I am upside down from the beginning. Thank god for gap insurance. If that is even worth it. More

I had oil change tire rotated. I understand you need to make money but do not sell something I do not need at this time. You have now put me into a position of not using your services. I try to do the services needed on my cars and you try and do something not needed at this time and try to pressure me by using warranty. I will now go to where I can get service without being tod I need something that’s not recommended at this time. More

Well this year, for some odd reason, I thought I would try working out a deal to buy a car myself by starting the conversations over the internet. After a few rough spots with a couple of dealerships, I finally contacted Honda Kingsport in Kingsport, TN. WHAT AN AMAZING GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS! They helped me and didn’t pressure me. The didn’t play “salesmen games” but instead, took the time to find me the car I wanted and even beat my expectations on price. What an honest, credible group of men and women, from start to finish. (Jason, Ashley, Elizabeth, Kaylee, and Anthony) No one is paying me to say this. I bought a 2021 Honda Passport elite on Thursday (10/08/20) from Honda Kingsport. Honda Kingsport is about 1-hour 45-minutes away from where I live. I plan on having my car serviced there even if It is far away, and even if there is a Honda dealership in my home city. When you find excellence, you reward it with your business. If not, then you are a knucklehead! Kingsport Honda Price Gouging Went to Kingsport Honda to have my wife’s CRV looked at and get an oil change. It turned out that I also needed brake rotors and pads all around. I new the parts were outrageously expensive but I thing Honda is a quality car and quality isn’t sheep so I said okay. I thought the price included labor. For $650.00 it should have been. After waiting three hours the car was ready and went to pay the bill. I wasn’t prepared for the four hundred dollar labor charge. It comes to $133.33 per hour. I know the mechanics don’t get paid this and no one at the dealership could explain their pricing.Please learn from my $1000.00 mistake. Never get your car worked here. Take your car to an honest mechanic. More
