I received a recall notice from Honda for the fuel pump on my vehicle. I called the dealership multiple times to try and schedule an appointment to have it replaced. The receptionist said that I would have on my vehicle. I called the dealership multiple times to try and schedule an appointment to have it replaced. The receptionist said that I would have to speak to a service rep in order to make that appointment. She would have someone call me. No one ever returned my phone call, several months later. I received an email from the dealership telling me to schedule an appointment to have my fuel pump replaced. I called to set up an appointment because the online option is not available. A woman did call me back to schedule the appointment. She told me to plan on leaving my car for 4 to 5 hours, they do not provide transportation to anyone who lives in my area so I need to plan on having somebody drop me off and pick me up. When I arrive the morning of my appointment, the guy I talked to of course, tried to sell me on other services, which is never a fun experience. He then also told me to plan on my car being there for 4 to 5 hours and did I have someone to pick me up? 45 minutes later, he calls to tell me that my car is ready. I had barely made it back to my house. I would think the service department at that dealership would’ve realized they had very few cars to work on that day and would’ve let me know that it wasn’t gonna take four or five hours and I could’ve waited on my car instead of inconveniencing other people to take me there and pick me up. Of course, when he called me to tell me my car is ready. He also tried to sell me something else. Hopefully there will be no more recalls for my vehicle and I will never have to go back to that dealership again. More
