Travelling in Florida and needed an oil change so we went to Honda of the Bay for service. The staff was good to deal with but shortly after leaving I discovered a plastic clip on the floor on the passenger to Honda of the Bay for service. The staff was good to deal with but shortly after leaving I discovered a plastic clip on the floor on the passenger side. Never thought anything of it but when I arrived home and brought my vehicle into my dealer side for a recall I was informed a clip was broken off the piece holding the filter located in the glovebox. There is no way they would not have known they broke it off but decided not to inform me. Not the kind of service I expect from a Honda dealership. More
Folks at Bay Honda treated me well with my 2020 Ridgeline when it required some recall work. They provided a shuttle back home while the work was being performed. The customer service was great at first, but then I felt like I was completely swindled into getting work done that I wasn't made aware of in the beginning. I was sent an itemized list of repairs that were like I was completely swindled into getting work done that I wasn't made aware of in the beginning. I was sent an itemized list of repairs that were recommended to review and approve. I went through the list and approved and denied what I needed and didn't. Then I was called and asked the same over the phone. Then when I went to pick up my vehicle and pay, the total cost was almost $1000 more than the approved total. When I asked about it Allen V tried to tell me that I did approve it, even though I never even saw it listed when the recommendation list was sent. We went back and forth over it for a bit until finally I spoke with someone else, who took the charge off. I was almost in tears over this experience and I will not recommend anyone to have their vehicle serviced there. More
