I had a problem last year when I took my car in for service. The cheap plastic trim abutting the hood became loose and would not stay put. As I am a very low mileage driver, I knew the problem did not happen after I dove my car off the lot. I suspect this part is defective or poorly designed. Someone may have leaned on it during service and because it is flimsy, broke what ever flimsy device secures it to the car. I took the car back to have the trim piece repaired. Not only did Len the service manager tell me that I had caused a problem for Tony, the service rep by leaving anything less than 5 stars, but he treated my complaint with condescension. Wow. Anyway, I took my car back on June 30, 2025 because they gave me a coupon. Omar was great. Imagine my surprise when several days later, the trim became loose. I do not remember if it was the same side as the one a year ago that was repaired or the opposite side. Either way, it was the same piece of trim. I need to bring the car back to have it fixed. I am dreading having to deal with Len. Although the issue was ultimately addressed and resolved in my favor as I did nothing wrong, it was distasteful. It is interesting to note that the trim design has changed in the new model. I wonder if it was done to address the defect in the trim pieces that are on my model. More
