I've had my car and own my car for a while now. So, on August 1st I had him recheck from the July safety check he did while having my oil changed and he finally said the engine mounts did something weird by stretching instead of tearing and I could careless about how it wore out! If my car has 200K miles on it and the average life span for mounts and other parts no matter what are a good 60k-100K max, why wouldn't he recommend them? I'm not a mechanic and I'm trying my hardest to keep up with maintenance and other repairs. He said that since I replaced my transmission mounts that it should ease the jerking and it has not at all, it even feels worse! I do not have time to keep coming up there and trying to rearrange my day to day schedule for repairs on my car. I don't want to come back to Honda for the rest of the year or if I can help it, ever. I feel like I have been scammed and I just want the repairs that my car needs when it needs it.
