Had a very nice initial meeting with this dealer re. an '09 Pilot they had in stock. I left (not ready to buy that day), and was looking at buying from another dealer. a couple of days passed, and Andy f '09 Pilot they had in stock. I left (not ready to buy that day), and was looking at buying from another dealer. a couple of days passed, and Andy followed up with me, and when I told him the price I had considered at the other dealer, Andy told me they could 'be there,' but did not know if they could go lower. Honda Village is a more convenient location for me, and I had previously bought a Honda there. So the next day, I went back to Honda Village ready to buy - and had trade-in, title, and checkbook ready to go, only to be told that they could not do it, that I could not get the car a that price, which was $26,500 after trade-in. They came back to me with a roughly $28,000 "best offer." Typical car buying horsecrap. Manager came out and everything, and said that "i probably could not get the car at the price" I told them. I was very clear with the price buildup and valuation of the car...I mentioned that I was leaving and said to Mr. Park that you told me verbally that you could do the $26,500, and the response to me was: "..that was just talk." Subsequently, I went right to the other dealer and got not only the same Pilot for $26,500 after trade-in, but got a 2010 model - same color and options as the '09 I was willing to buy at HV. I am writing this because going back to Honda Village, where the experiece the first day was great, turned into a wasted 3 hour trip after they told me they'd sell me the car at my price! I would highly recommend that if you are an intelligent carbuyer, do your homework and come up with what the competition and other sources will sell you a Honda for, do NOT go to Honda Village...there are other dealers nearby that can discern intelligent buyers. More
This place is hands down, the BEST. We went to 5 other dealers in Mass., but Honda Village blew our expectations. When you go there, just ask for Alex, he is a dealer that any customer would dream buyi dealers in Mass., but Honda Village blew our expectations. When you go there, just ask for Alex, he is a dealer that any customer would dream buying a car from. It is hard to find a dealer who really knows the car they are selling in and out - Alex knew everything about Honda, was very honest, listened to our concerns, made the Cash for Clunkers work for our '97 Mountaineer, and got us an +amazing+ deal on a 2009 Civic LX!!! If we ever buy another Honda, we are definitely buying from Alex and the Honda Village team. Thanks guys, you are great!!! More
I was in the market for a certified Pilot and found several to choose from. Howard was helpful throughout the entire process and was able to get me signed, sealed and delivered all in one day. I was very pleased with my dealings with Honda Village and mostly that of Bob. He took the time to show me the features of the car, answered my questions, and was very patient when it seemed I may "run". and mostly that of Bob. Bob was very approachable and listened well to my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the cars. When I did stump him with a question, he found someone in the office who could help. We were in the market for a car for my 17yr old son and were comparing an Accord with an Altima. Bob knew not only the Honda but was intimately familiar with the features of the Altima. He was able to relate to my son in a manner we hadn't been able to that for a young man his age, he might want to consider the importance of traction and stability control and other Accord safety features as more important than personal taste. My son came away realizing the importance of these safety features. He gave us an extremely competitive price and was professionally persistant as opposed to pushy. I should note that when we visited the dealership, it was the last day of the "Cash for Clunkers" program and the place was crawling with buyers. Despite other deals to had, Bob was patient, informative, and professional and took all the time we needed. Although we settled on a compromise vehicle between son and parents(a Camry SE), I would recommend Bob and will definitely seek him out the next time I am in the market. More
